Nope.

I want to fall down and sleep, but if I do, I bet you one penny she'll carry on walking.

"Are we there yet, my legs are killing me." I moan, trying to get her attention.

"You said they're killing you. When they have killed you, then I'll stop. Happy?" She replies. Her sharp words sting. " I was being polite."

POLITE!!!?!

What is it with these people, everything in their fucked up brains is good.

I give up.

I sit down on the muddy grass, it smells really bad, but if it means trying to let my legs charge, then so be it.

Nakira carries on walking, as I predicted, then to my surprise stops. I'm assuming she senses I'm relaxing.

Ooh this is good.

She doesn't smile and join me, she does the opposite and actually yells and drags me by the arm, practically disconnecting it from it's socket.

"Get the fuck up, if I have to tell you that one more time I'm leaving without you!" Her angry mask is on, and her nails are digging right into my flesh, the pain soaring through my body. "You NEVER was this annoying. You're giving me a fucking migrane. For God's sake."

Once again, her words sting me like a bee.

Without me having my say she let's go of me, leaving her wide marks on my skin. 

I get up, completely soaked in mud, and walk behind her. 

I speak up, " I don't get you, one minute you're nice, the next minute your as evil as Stan."

She laughs at me, still not facing me. "Stan is nice, right now you're not. So shut up, do I have to tape your mouth or something?"

I shake my head.

"So shut it."

How dare she talk to me like that. She's acting as if she can control me.

"Are you stupid to forget I can read you mind." She says, glaring at me.

"No I'm not. I'm just fed up... Of everything." She turns her head facing forward. 

"Why do you give up so easily? We're almost there." She points at a small shed like house.

"It's teeny."

"Yeah because we're still farm from it. But yeah, when we get there it won't look anymore bigger that it already is." Her pace is now quicker, forcing me to speed up the process aswell.

"C'mon!"

She's running now, her eyes glued on the house, not even checking to see if I'm still tagging behind her.

I run aswell, but I can't catch up with her, she's soo flipping fast.

When I finally reach her, she's already by the house, she's looking for something.

"What are you looking for?" I ask, my eyes following her every move.

"The key, I'm looking for the key. It forgot where I put it, the last time I was here you was... Oh I found it!" She gets the key out of a small teapot, which is inside a flowerpot.

Nikira slowly takes in a breath, and breathes out when she's finally opened the door.

"Welcome to your temporary home." She says, with no enthusiasm in her voice.

I give her a small smile of gratitude. I'm ever so grateful for what she's done so far for me.

"Quit thinking about me, it's making me feel uncomfortable." She moans, but I can see her small smile spreading across her face.

"Whatever." I step inside the house first, and this time I'm the one holding my breath. I look around carefully whilst walking through, it looks like a museum.

I hear Nakira slam the door behind me, I glare at her even though she can't see me.

Stan would always slam all the bloody doors, including his own car door.

My eyes finally settle on a comfy room, which I assuming is the living/relaxing room.

"We'll talk over there." I hear Nakira say softly.

She nudges me forward to see the whole view.

For a start, it's too clean, I'm not used to clean homes.

I carefully sit on one of the couches and watch Nakira sit on the same couch.

She looks at me right in the eyes, and I look right back at hers. 

Her eyes look so beautiful...

Nakira coughs, signalling o should snap out of it.

"We need to talk-"

"Yes we do." I cut her off, slightly annoyed that it took her this long to fess up to me. My emotions are mixed, I don't know what will spill out of her mouth.

"First things first, how am I supposed to tell you shit.. When you keep butting in." She's alot more annoyed than I am. "Do me the honours of sealing your mouth, for now."

I nod at her apologetically, but I can't help but ask, "What are you about to tell me?"

When I look at her, she doesn't look annoyed anymore. She's actually smiling. "I'm going to tell you everything, I'm going to answer all the questions that have been mounting up in your mind. I'm going to tell you who was or who will be in your life. And most importantly I'm going to tell you things you might never believe that are true. So hold tight hon, because everything is going to be leaked." Her eyes look watery, I think this might be an emotional ride.

For both of us.

She breathes out before clearing her throat. "Ok, I'm ready."

When I look down I see her hand locking with mine.

I nod in agreement.

"So am I." I reply.

I am definitely ready for this.

"It was hundreds of thousand of years ago-"

"Wait hold up, I'm 17." Whoops..

"Scarlett! Hush your gob, this is the seventh time!" She replies angrily.

Technically it's the ninth time, but we'll stick to seventh.

I mime padlocking my mouth and chucking the key.

"Here we go again." Her anger is rising, I think it is best for me to shut my mouth. "It was hundreds of thousands of years ago, a young couple gave birth to a set of twins, they named one Joyannus, to represent happiness and of course joy because she was called 'Joy-annus'. And the other girl was called Scarlett, to represent their pain, this baby had to uphold the scars of their past. And the mother, Kizanna, almost died giving birth to Scarlett." I remain stiff, is she talking about me, the girl full of 'sorrow'? Nikira continues "Both girls grew up together, both loving and caring for eachother..

Until joy disappeared. Every looked, fellow friends, strangers, family, everyone! Since nobody could find her, they all gave up and claimed she was dead." Nakira sighs, and I'm not sure why but tears start spilling down my cheeks.

Nakira is pressing my hand, she's trying to comfort me, she wants to stop, but she looks into my eyes seeking for permission.

"Carry on." I mumble.

"They arranged a small funeral. Her body was never found, so they dug the ground and filled it with different flowers, representing joy. Years passed, and both Kizanna and her husband, Xeno, clutched onto their only surviving child. They spoilt her, adored her, and even made her the centre of attention in the town, but weird things started happening." Nakira starts frowning before carrying on. " They both noticed Scarlett's behaviour was not right from the age of about 10, she had something wrong with her but they didn't know what. They contacted their closest friends, Elizabeth and Jonas, their child was also born on the same day as Scarlett, who were having similar issues, their daughter Nakira was predicting things five minute into the future, and it happened. She could read her parents mind and would tell them what they were thinking. On the other hand, Scarlett would be able to heal herself, she would have dreams that would carry on throughout the day, and would take hours to open her eyes. Any bad emotions she had, she could release it with vibrations released out of palms into the air, which would shatter everything that surrounded her. And the strangest thing for Scarlett's parents, was that she learnt how to sword fight alone. Any time anyone spotted her fight alone with her sword, or see her release bad emotions or thoughts, or see her eyes the minute she would wake up. Her eyes turned dark purple."

"STOP!" I yell, even though I have no idea why.

"You're about to have a vision." Nikira sighs, again.

"But I need to ask-"

"Later, this vision is important. I can feel it." I frown, how is she supposed to know what my visions are about. 

"How do you-"

"I will explain later." She says, annoyed. "Put your head on my lap."

I obey her, slamming my head on her lap. My head is in too much pain.

"Breath in, and out." Nikira's soft words shut my eyes.

Third times is a damn charm.

My third fricken vision.

I pass out.

I see us.

Both Nikira and I.

We're teeny, but we look tough.

"Let's play that game again, when we do that stuff." Nikira says, breathing quickly. "Just make sure your mother doesn't catch us."

Little Scarlett nods and puts her hands in front of herself. She starts mumbling something I can't hear.

"I see joy, I feel her, but she's not in good hands." Nikira has he r eyes shut, she's predicting something.

Scar is moaning now, screams bursting out of her mouth.

Both of the girls have no control right now, I wish I could grab them and stop them.

But I can't. It's as if I'm watching a movie, I can't reach my hands out and grab the characters.

Scarlett is screaming really loud now, and that's when I see it.

I see her eyes turn purple, she screams so loud both her and Nikira fall down.

Nikira still has her eyes shut, she's saying stuff about joy.

That a dark realm is covering her face, she can't see her sweet smile. She can only sense danger and death.

Scarlett is now awake, she is staring at Nikira and listening to every word she says. Her eyes have now returned to her usual colour, greenish-blue. It looks like earth almost.

"Nikira, please stop." Scarlett is crying, hearing joy's name is making her break down.

As soon as Scarlett opened her mouth, Nikira's eyes opened.

"I'm sorry, I just couldn't stop myself. It felt like someone was dragging me away from me... I don't get it." Nikira sighs and wipes the tears off Scarlett's face.

"I love you so much Nik..."

"I love you too scar.."

They hug eachother, both crying but being grateful they have eachother.

No matter what they stuck together.

No matter what they fought the shit, nothing broke them.

Nothing had, did and ever will break them.

Because their bond was stronger than anybody else's.

"You know, I don't think I can ever live without you." Nikira mumbles, her head stuck in Scarlett's hair.

"Neither can I." Scarlett replies, hugging Nikira even tighter.

That bond...it's was too familiar.

When I wake up, I don't wake up crying, I don't wake up as if it's the last time I'm going to breath.

For once, I wake up smiling.

I leap on Nikira and hug her. "I'm not loosing you." I cry in her hair.

"What makes you think you won't." She laughs, but I can tell she's crying.

"Because our lives were destined to be together. End of speech." A perfect final say.

I though Nikira was going to blab, but she doesn't instead she says. "You're right, and I'm never going to loose you."

We cry together to sleep, still clutching onto eachother.

Ahh, I could get used to this.

A few hours later I hear a boy on the door. "It's probably stan." Nakira mumbles, her voice sluggish from her sleep.

I groan, slowly untangling myself from Nikira, I get up stretching my back.

"Ok...hold up." I say angrily.

I walk out of the room slowly and go to the door. You could atleast be patient.

I open the door and regret every word.

"Scarlett..help me." Stan is paler that the official version of pale.

Holy shit.

Blood is everywhere, juicing out of his leg like a mini waterfall.

Oh my.. Oh my.. Sh*t sh*t sh*t!

"NIKIRA, STAN IS DYING!" I yell at the very top of my lungs.

He falls into my arms, and that's when Nikira comes.
