BANG.

It feels as if it's about it find its way out of my mouth. I feel so fucking weak, I've lost so much blood...too much.

I open my eyes, why am I still alive? Aren't I supposed to be dead. 

Is this a dream? Please God no.

I have a bloody nose, and I feel pain. I never feel pain in my dreams, ever.

I open my eyes wider just to realize a spike went through my chest.

I scream.

If this is how it feels like to die slowly, suicide is a lot better.

I can't take the pain anymore, I want to end it.

I lift my head up to see what's going on.

Everyone, and I mean everyone, is watching me as if I'm a star in a movie or something.

They don't even give a fuck right now.

I cough, unsurprisingly blood comes out.

I scream louder.

There are six people, including Fawn, who are sitting in chairs and taking notes.

I'm pretty sure testing on a seventeen year old, which includes spikes, is illegal.

Before I try to attempt anything I hear someone speaking in a mic. 

There are speakers inserted here somewhere...

"Scarlet." The voice booms aloud. 

"You are doing an excellent job, please do us all a favour and not kill yourself, we have all just eaten."

Bitch.

Whoever that was, was probably just asking in the simplest way for me to get the hell on with it and push the spike through my heart.

"End it." one part of my head says.

"Scar, prove 'em wrong, live!" the other says.

My good conscience.

"Die! They'll probably kill you anyway."

My bad conscience.

" If you really want to find out what the hell is really wrong with you, you've got to do a lot better than die. Think you idiot."

I don't need another reminder. My good conscience always finds a way to reach to me.

Fuck them if they want me dead, I'm going to show them who's the boss.

What I wish is to get out of this box. Alive.

Firstly I lift my left knee, the only part of my body which isn't soaked in blood, and lean it against the glass.

I lift my right knee, the spike has dug right deep into my flesh.

"ARRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!" I scream as I yank out my knee.

I bite my lip so hard I taste some blood.

Gross.

Both my knees are leaning against the glass, the only energy I have left is making sure I keep them standing. 

Or my life is on its last legs with this box. 

"I am not dying until I'm 100+," I chant in my head.

Me and my messed up head...

I'm now on the worst bit.

Technically the spike is just right above my left boob.

Let's just stick to chest.

I use my arms to help me slowly pull myself out of the spike. 

I can't even budge.

That's it, it's just gone too far.

I can't hold it inside of me anymore.

I groan as I lift myself from the spike, blood juicing out of me as I stand. 

I scream.

I'm in a sumo squat, my legs spreaded out wide leaning against the glass and my hands also on the glass facing everyone, it's the only part of the box that doesn't have any spikes.

My anger is bubbling like a steam train, or a kettle, or a pot about to burst, or a volcano about to erupt or...or..

I keep my eyes on the people that are taking notes of me, writing ten times faster than they were before.

I take a deep breath.

I have anger jumping inside of me, but I have no clue on how to get of this box.

"The dream! THE DREAM!" my head screams, furiously.

The bloody dream. The one I had before I woke up..

I take another deep breath.

This time focusing on me...my anger and my pain.

And when I release my breath I scream, "BREAK THE GLASS!"

I think of the color blue, and without me realizing, blue waves are released out of my palms. It feels like it's a thread which is pulling out my anger, ever so slowly.

"ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!"

And that's when the glass breaks.

It first starts out as a small crack.

I blow ever so softly, but the reaction is ever so big.

The small crack carries on cracking all around me, until..

CRASH

All the glass falls, but not one bit touches my head.

I shut my eyes for a second, taking in, once again, another crazy anger burst. 

When I open my eyes, those six people, which include Fawn, were standing up. They are all wearing the mask of fear. Ha!

Bitches like them should never push my buttons, because I'll end up pushing theirs.

"Who are you?!" I'm still in shock, I don't know what these people want from me. "What do you want?"

Fawn leans forward into a mic, and because I just broke through a glass box, most of the glass would've crashed on top of the speakers.

I can't hear what she's saying, so I point at my ears.

"...can you hear me now?" She says, clearly raising the volume in her voice.

I nod.

"We...." see points at herself, and the other five people who were most likely writing shit about me. "Are supernatural scientists, we experiment and test on supernaturals, I've told you this... We are called 'The Judges'."

I look at her as if she's mad. Who would call a bunch of crazy, maniac supernatural scientists 'The Judges'. Isn't that supposed to be a bit below their standards?

"You still haven't answered my question, what do you want from me?" I press, looking directly at Fawn. Who seems to be saying stuff to 'The Judges'.

I cough, extra loud, just to get her attention, instead I get another judge's attention.

"We want you Scarlett, we just want you," one of the judges says, " We've never seen anyone like you. Ever! All we need is you.." And I swear I can see him smile, he's flashing money in his own face.

Then it just hit me.

They want to make money out of me.

I scan my eyes around the room, I find him very easily, he is there watching every word I say, and studying every breath I take.

Stan... He didn't did he?

If he knew all along what's going on with me why didn't he say anything?

It hits me again, about what he said It the car:

"I'm going to be a happy man, I can't wait to get rid of this bitch."

He meant me, he was looking after me to get money.

That fucking cow...

Tears of frustration stack in my eyes, I have nothing to say for once. No words.

But then I realize, what if these people want to kill me? I might aswell not delight in my last few hours and speak to Stan.

I get out of what remains of the box, and walk casually over to Stan. He gets out of his little 'box room', and walks up to me.

Both of us are angry, Stan has his fists clenched as if he's ready to start a fight.

Tears are spilling on my cheeks, I can't hide the fact that inside of me I'm hurting emotionally, as well as the outside, of course.

"Why, why would you do that? You used me to get some stinking cash." I spit, his eyes are giving me the don't-you-dare-go-there look.

I don't care, he hurt me.

"You don't understand anything Scar. When you do, then talk to me, because there's a hell of a story about you. You say you fear me, well you're wrong, I fear YOU."

His words almost making me fall, he fears me? Why would Stan of all people fear me?

"Stan..."

"No, you're thinking it's all me, I can't feel guilty about things that aren't my fault, I can't stay here." He looks down, I see that his eyes are watery.

It reminds me of how he looked like when he found out I passed out.

He does care.

"I'm sorry." I mumble, I don't realize I hurt him, he's right, I don't know anything and I can't be pinning everything on him.

Everyone around us is watching everything. I would so love to take out my anger on them, but I would so hate it if I caused somebody to die, that's not me, I'm scared of death let alone trying to kill someone else.

I walk up to the judges' table and ask, " Now what? Am I going to be here forever?" They're so freaking me out, but I do what's best and put on my brave face, to make them freak out.

"We'll keep testing you, and by the end of the week we'll-"

BANG!

BOOM!

BANG!

CRASH!

Everyone, including me, is screaming. I'm holding onto the Judges' table.

The lights have gone out, what the hell is happening.

This is the end of the world.

Eek.

BOOM!

Another explosion, my insides have just about flipped. 

I'm fucking scared.

I can call myself a 'scaredy cat' now.

I feel someone lean towards me, touching my ear and then breathing into it. "Release your fear." She whispers, she sounds a lot like one of the women in the judges crew.

"How can I trust you?" I whisper back angrily.

"You always have, it's just that you don't remember." She smells like honey and berries.

Mmm

I don't see how I can trust anyone, but if there's anything I would love to do. It would be to get out of here... Alive.

"Scar.. Go on." She nudges me, " I'll be dealing with the others. To prove I am trustworthy.

I did what she said.

I focus my attention on my fear, the explosions or the shootings or..

Holy shit!

Stan.

"STAN!!!" I scream my lungs out, getting out of the zone I was supposed to be in.

"You go look for him then," the judge sighs 

"What's you name, just curious." I ask, loudly.

"I'm Nikira." She replies, and I swear I can see her smile, even though it's pitch black.

I run through the crowds of people, "STAN!" 

Where the fuck is this guy, he might've been my childhood nightmare, but I could see in that man's eyes, he was bloody caring.

I scream his name again.

No reply, unless it includes another gunshot going off with hundreds of people fleeing and screaming, then no.

"Stan, where are you crazy maniac." I croak, my voice is exhausted.

Just when I'm about to give up, I smell a strong breath, it stinks but it's the only breath that I truly know.

"Stan!" I jump up and down excitedly.

"It you say that ever again, I'll drag you by your fingers." He threatens, but then he laughs, so do I. "We've got to get Nikira, before the others try to get you."

"You know-"

"Yes, I do, she knows you better than anyone else. I promise, she's safe." I'm still trying to adjust on Stan's sweet behaviour. "We'll explain everything, C'mon we've got to find her."

" She was by the table, when I left her to look for you." I bite my lip feeling a weeny bit guilty.

"You guys bonded-" 

"Well she did, I just had to find a way to trust her." I say honestly.

"Ok... Let's check over there."

"Stan, we can't see a bloody thing, as you expect to walk right up to the table without anyone in your way." I point out, being serious.

"Yup." He laughs, I just roll my eyes. Are you serious!? "That's why flashlights were invented, idiot."

He still is carrying on that nickname crap. Ugh..

He grabs a flashlight from his back pocket, and switches it on.

"You seem prepared." I say, raising an eyebrow.

"I knew this was going to happen-"

"Then why-" 

"Quit cutting me off."

"Quit cutting me off." I argue back, but then I can't help but laugh.

Stan rolls his eyes at me sighing he says, "Anyways, I brought you here so you can see some things."

"Like what?"

"When you passed out you really didn't, did you?"

"No it was-"

"A vision." Nikira walks up to us casually. "Thanks for the search party, I almost got bloody shot. Jee." She adds sarcasticly.

"Sorry, but how-"

"I know you better than anyone, remember that."

I nod in confusion, she knows me very well, but I barely know her. 

She picks up that I'm confused, "We just have to get out of here, we have to get you out too, but you still to have to release your fear. It's killing me that you're thinking about it."

How the-

"I'm psychic, impress you yet?" She laughs a bit, even though she's as scared as me. Up close she looks really, really really  young. I wonder how old she is.

"Yeah, you did. But quit read my mind, it's freaking me out." I snap.

"Will you just hurry." Stan rudely interrupts.

I glare at him, it's not as if he's made anything any better. 

I shut my eyes and focus on fear, I'm breathing slowly, but my heart is beating so fast.

It jumps as an explosion takes place somewhere in the background.

But I don't focus on that.

"ARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!"

"ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!"

I open my eyes slowly, as usual, I feel light when I release my emotions. 

But when I look around, the lights might've gone back on, but everyone is looking at me. 

Pointing their guns at me.

"There she is! That's her. Get her boys!" A man yells, even though he doesn't look like a human, he looks like a lizard, he has a scar right across his face.

Hell no.

I breathe out and scream, my hands facing them.

SLAP

I directed the guys to the wall, and sadly their heads went right through.

"Scarlett." I hear a whisper behind me. Nikira is trying to warn me, I take my chances and ignore her.

Another guys runs right up to me, so I kick him in the face.

Unlike the other men, he has experienced fights. I can sense it.

He grabs my leg and twists it.

Now I'm the one screaming in pain... again.

"Get OFF!" I scream.

"I'm sorry Scarlett, this must be done." Fawn says, she is trying to hide her smile.

Fool.

More men come in, they look half human and half creature, they look frightening.

My arms are tied behind my back, and someone blindfolds me.

"We'll take her outside." The man with the scar across his face says, gesturing to his men to take me outside.

I'm crying now, I'm trying to kick my way out but I can't, I'm tied up. And my leg bloody hurts.

"Nikira, I don't know you, but I want to thank you." I whisper, she probably never heard me. Bit atleast I said something honourable before my death.

"If you want her, you'll have to go through me." I hear someone say...

Nikira

"And me." I think it's Stan.

I hear swords drawn out.

Holy mother of God.

"You ready?" Nikira says, I can't see her face, but she definitely sounds ready.

"Why would I be here, you jerk." I hear Stan reply, at least I'm not the only person with nicknames.

They both laugh and all of a sudden I hear men yelling.

As if they're ready.

CLINK.

And then once again, I hear screams and shouts, people are running for their lives, well at least I can feel people passing me quickly.

Whoever was holding me dropped me with a big thud, and went somewhere.

So I'm stuck tied, and blind. When there's a flicker sword fight how many feet away from me.

Minutes later...

I feel someone remove the rope, and my blindfold. I'm not in the room I was in with the claustrophobic box, I'm at the entrance with blood smeared across the tiles.

I look up to see an old man, he smiles before he says, "Go on and help your friend, she needs you."

I thank him and run inside, looking around. Not having a clue where Stan and Nikira would be.

I look in the room I was in in the beginning, nope.

I try the back room, nope.

CLINK

CLINK 

I look to my left, and see Nikira fighting a guy who is covered by thin cloth from his waist below.

He's stronger than Nikira.

His back is facing me.

I look around, and to my surprise I find a spear lying around. I grab it, and run after the man who is almost about to gut Nakira.

I run and jump on his back.

I close my eyes and spear him right through the neck. Blood is juicing out everywhere.

Both me and the man fall, I roll off him.

Blood is everywhere, on is face, body, everywhere.

I watch him rattle his last breath.

A tear drop rolls down my cheek.

I just killed a man, I just killed a man.

"You f*cking idiot!" I scream mentally.

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh...

Nakira just stands there and watches me curse myself. 

I run and smash the wall with what's left of the spear.

I crumble down, just like the wall. 

And I start to cry.

"What did I do to get here?" I cry, "What the fuck did I do to get here?"

My anger goes on pause when Nakira slumps down the wall and sits next to me.

"I'll tell you everything-" Nakira swears under her breath, "lay down on my lap, you're going to pass out."

I fall on her lap, my eyes slam shut.

Great.

Another bloody vision.

I see the girl and boy cry, then tug what's left of the girl's body, which is split in half.

The girl has dirty blonde hair, her whole body shaking. I can't see who she is, but I can feel her emotion.

"It's not ending like this, or else I'm sacrificing myself." The girl cries.

I swear I know that voice.

The boy says something, but I can't hear him.

I'm not focusing on him.

I'm focusing on the girl.

"This isn't over." I see her drag a hand across her face.

She turns around, holds the boy's hand, and they both run, they're carry the dead girl's body.

They all jump off the cliff.

I see her eyes...hazel.

I wake up gasping, my eyes are popping out of it's sockets.

"What happened?" Nikira questions me, whilst rubbing my back.

That voice..

Dirty blonde hair... Hazel eyes.

"It was you!" I cry, "You were in my vision. I saw you, with a dead body."

She smiles, clearly knowing what I'm talking about.

"You're right, and I'm guessing you saw James? Girl you've got alot of catching up to do." She stands up, and brushes off the dust that I left on her lap.

I raise my eyebrow, "Aren't you going to tell me?"

I just want to know what the hell is going on, I'm clearly stuck here.

"I can read your mind, dumbass, I know you don't know anything. The important thing you need to know is that you can trust me. Okay, no more questions...yet."

I nod my head at her, and follow her out of the door, trying not to look down at the guy I just killed. I'm still grieving.

We're about to leave this nut place when I ask, "Where's Stan?"

Nikira groans, "He's trying to chase those other men, he's smart, he'll meet us to where we're going."

"Where are we going?" I bite my lip, no more questions.

"I can so understand why he beat you, these days you talk too much. But I can understand." She smirks at me.

Did she just agree to Stan's violent abuse. 

"Asshole." I mutter under my breath, but not quiet enough for Nikira not to hear.

"What was that?" Her angry mask is on. She scares me.

"Nothing." I reply.

"Aww, the warrior is scared of a judge." She teases.

"Shut up, donkey face, no one talks to me like that," I curse back.

"Girl you're too funny," she laughs.

"I am?" I take that as a compliment.

"Do you realise something?" She's awful at laughing and walking.

"While you were 'dozing'...you crapped yourself." She bursts into tears of laughter.

Compliment declined. 

"Liar!"

"I heard everything you chicken, I can't wait to tell Stan."

"NOOO!"

Stan, seeing as he doesn't hate me now, would probably find an even ruder nickname.

"Gosh I am going to kill you. I hate you so much right now." I huff.

"I love you too honey." She winks at me.

I chase after her, and she runs.

I'm already starting to see our bond.

Friends or even-

"Dofus, being friends with you, is like asking an ant to marry you, in your dreams." Once again making fun of me.

"I AM SOO GOING TO KILL YOU!"

She can be such a bitch.

But it's part of her charm, it's what really makes her.

I smile as I chase her down the pathway.

It's been a hectic day.
