It was now time for the main show— the three year branch, the four boys were warming up in the waiting room. Anas and Echo were devising a plan against the other teams.
"Why do we need a plan? I can beat everyone in a fight," Echo asked.
"In a 1 on 1 battle, I will admit you can. But in this event, you might have to fight both Nex and Karasu at the same time and you can't sneak up on them with those chains. And they aren't dumb, looking at their current skill set, Karasu can make traps with his shrapnels while Nex locks us in place," Anas explained.
"You have a good point, but after we disarm the traps, I can go insane and beat them up!" Echo said pridefully.
"Disarming them will be easy, I will summon chunks near where the two idiots will be. After the chunks crushed the shrapnels, we will move in. But the fight is going to be a lot harder. You will run randomly, forcing at least one of them to focus on you and I will create a distraction for you to come and land hits on them and hopefully win. We will then finish whoever is left," Anas said.
"Sounds solid, I'm in," Echo responded.
Over on the other side of the room, Karasu and Nex were cautious about Anas and Echo.
"What is our plan?" Nex asked.
"What plan?" Karasu asked back.
"You didn't make one?" Nex asked.
"I was never built for that! Uhhh, I guess we can hold positions. My shrapnels could cause minor injuries and alert us where they are coming from. And you can make bone walls to make a barricade," Karasu said and Nex decided to trust him on his plan.
After a few minutes, all teams were escorted to each corner. Anas and Echo were on the bottom left corner while Karasu and Nex were on the top left.
"We just need to focus on them, they are the main threat to our victory," Anas said.
Just as he finished his sentence, the firework blew up and the match started. Anas and Echo quickly rushed to the top left corner while Karasu and Nex were setting up their trap.
After a bit, Anas and Echo were near the area, Anas was being extra cautious and looked around before moving forward, Echo already spotted a few decoy strings that led to nothing.
"This should be a good spot to do it, we are already in enemy territories," echo whispered.
Anas made a wall in front of them just in case any shrapnels were close to them. He summoned a ring of sapphire chunks and dropped them. Each chunk crashed down with an large impact, and Anas was glad that he made the wall as shrapnels struck the wall.
Echo quickly dashed ahead while flailing his chains around, making screech-like screams which echoed around Nex and Karasu.
"Wow, that plan worked really well," Nex commented sarcastically.
"I didn't think Anas would have predicted me that quickly," Karasu said.
"He is Anas, of course he can predict and read you like a children's book!" Nex said as he shot skulls to try and pinpoint Echo's location.
Just then, three sapphire sharks came for Nex, but Karasu made blood tentacles and held the sharks in place before all three exploded, creating an explosion loud enough to hide Echo's chains.
Before the two can recover, sapphire lances dropped from the sky, but both of them dodged. Karasu made blood moons and the beams destroyed every lance that fell. Nex was trying to make bone arms to block the lances, but Echo appeared in front of him and now he was locked into a fight with Echo.
"This will be much different from the first time!" Nex said.
"Cut your obnoxiously loud lies and fight!" Echo roared as he swung his chains. Nex dodged as he rapidly shot skulls towards Echo. Echo destroyed all of them, but Nex made bone arms to hold his chains in place. He thought Echo would have to fight him unarmed, but Echo did a split and kicked the bone arms, making them crumble to small pieces.
Over on Karasu's side, Anas was still hiding within the covered areas of the forest, he knew he has to enclose Echo and Nex for Echo's style of fighting to work without a problem, but Karasu wasn't going to allow that to happen easily.
"We both know I am the stronger one, so let's just end this quickly," Karasu said as he poured more blood into a moon and it fired a dense beam of blood, cutting every tree that it touched. Anas barely blocked with his think wall and was forced to come out of hiding.
"I just need to get close enough to Echo and make an enclosed area for him," Anas thought in his head.
Karasu created blood orbs around Anas, forcing him to destroy them with his dolphins, but one of them was actually a shrapnel and a small blood piece struck Anas' leg. Seeing this opportunity, Karasu created his blood scythe and armor, just in case if Anas used Megalodon.
Anas reacted quickly, summoning spikes from the ground and Karasu leapt above them, but that was what Anas needed, just then, Karasu was surrounded by sapphire dolphins and three sharks. He slashed and broke some and only a few hit his armor, doing no significant damage to his actual body.
Back with Nex and Echo, they both were at a standstill. Nex made extra limbs and claws from his back, but Echo destroyed each one with a single slash. However, the limbs will keep growing back, catching Echo's chains whenever he tried to strike Nex.
"I know sometimes happy wanted me to not go berserk, but it's the only way to overwhelm death man," Echo thought to himself. His pupils disappeared from his eyes, in a second, he swung his chains 50 times with each swing shrieking a small sonic boom. This flurry of attacks quickly disintegrated Nex's extra limbs, Nex instantly made an arm underneath and pushed himself away, but Echo kept moving towards him.
Nex chanted,"Hydra," as Echo moved forward. Each one fired a purple beam of energy, but Echo dodged all of them. His swings were fracturing the bones and the beams weren't fast enough, as Echo destroyed the heads, he landed a few hits on Nex, almost breaking his actual bones.
Karasu and Anas looked on as they realized Nex might die if Echo continued to lose control, so they rushed towards Echo together.
"I remember my last fight with him. It takes around 5 minutes for him to stop," Karasu said.
"It's been about 2 minutes, so we need to hold him of for 3," Anas replied.
Karasu chanted, "Blood Rain," as he fought Echo with his scythe, but just one swing could slowly break Karasu's armor. Anas supported from a distance, he made dolphins and shot them at Echo's joints. They were doing decently at holding him off, but Karasu was slowly wore down and he couldn't repair his armor for long.
"Anas! I'll hold him in place and you will use Megalodon on us, trust me, I will be fine!" Karasu shouted. Anas was hesitant, but he knew they had no other options.
Karasu lunged at Echo, he made blood tentacles to hold him and Anas used Megalodon on them both. It swam up and swallowed them, it moved around frantically as Echo and Karasu were moving inside of it, but as Anas detonated it, Echo and Karasu were knocked out.
He was about to finish the other teams, but he realized that both teams immediately surrendered when they saw the scene unfold.
"And our winners are team A of Celestial Star Academy Anas and Echo!" Principal Agnus announced and the crowd cheered on and whispering about the fight between the two teams of Celestial Star Academy.
Nex, Karasu and Echo quickly woke up after a minute or two.
"Crap, that hurts way more than during the Starfall Festival," Karasu said as he slowly got back up.
"You were literally in it, last time was much safer!" Anas shouted at Karasu.
"And what did I say to not go berserk?" Anas scolded Echo and he apologized to Anas and Nex.
