Appearance:
Aster stands at 6' 4'' with very pale snow-white skin and very dark brown eyes that make them look black. He has straight, thick hair that reaches to his shoulders. He does nothing to his formerly black hair, which has turned white due to canities, a common condition in the Russian family. His eyes will change to green, pink, dark red, blue, purple, and yellow, and glow when there is an Aurora Borealis in his state.
Spring/Summer Clothing:
Aster wears a natural white, heavy, long-sleeved fisherman's rib-knitted sweater made from a blend of linen and cotton, rather than wool like Dezi and Kelda. This makes it breathable during the summer, though he doesn't really need anything like that. Then he wears simple straight-leg pants with no buttons or fly, only an internal drawstring tie. They have slash pockets and hit just above the ankle. Finally, he wears white boots with small snowflake details.
Unlike most of his siblings, Aster only wears two accessories. His first is a long, duster-length cardigan in a thick, able-knit cotton yarn. The color is off-white, with large wooden buttons. He usually just wears this, so you can't really see what shirt he is wearing underneath. Also, this cardigan is made by Liberty and is one of the last things he has of her. Finally, he has a small, polished oval locket made of mother-of-pearl. The locket is smooth, with a milky-white iridescent sheen. Inside is a drawing of his mother, made by his father, so he can keep her in his life even though she is no longer in it. The locket hangs on a thin rawhide cord that's long enough to rest on his chest just underneath his cardigan.
Fall/Winter Clothing:
Aster wears quite a bit of clothing during the colder months. The first two are a cable-knitted cashmere Crewneck and a quilted vest. The Crewneck is a blend of cashmere and merino wool, designed primarily for warmth without adding weight. It is a soft, warm oatmeal color, quite unusual for him, as he prefers anything really light, mainly white. Next, the quilted vest is sleeveless, in a sand-colored cotton, lightly quilted in a simple diamond pattern, and filled with a thin layer of natural wool for insulation. It has a simple button placket and a soft gathered hem. He wears the vest under his coat instead of over it. Just like his warmer-season clothing, Aster also wears another cardigan, but it is different. This cardigan is heavyweight and made of wool, in a soft, warm, grayish-white color. It has a shawl collar, deep patch pockets, and a large, hand-carved wooden button. This cardigan is also made by Liberty. Next, he wears some wide-leg wool pants. These pants are weighted to keep the warmth and are a pale silver-gray. They covered his lower half more than the ones he wears in warmer seasons, reaching his boots and touching the floor. This makes it rough around the hem where it gets dragged on the floor. They have deep side pockets and a simple button-and-zip fly. Finally, his boots are simple, ankle-high leather boots. It's a thick, commando-style sole for grip, and it's completely unlined so he can wear some thick wool socks.
The accessories that Aster wears are his locket, chunky wool socks, a simpler chunky knit scarf, and snow goggles. The socks are hand-knit, this time by Sterling, in a natural cream color. They are thick and warm, but only visible when he sits down. Next, his scarf is hand-knitted from the same wool. It's wide and long enough to wrap multiple times, often tucked into the front of his coat to seal out the cold. The snow goggles are nothing fancy. Just a simple one with white on the outside, which he usually wears on top of his head, but rarely just leaves it around his neck.

Personality:
Aster is an aloof character. Aster is really distant from others and tends to be very cold to them as well. He doesn't really mean this; he's just very cautious about how others treat others. This, in turn, makes it so that they would avoid him at all costs, making it impossible to find friends, much less a lover. However, he isn't like this with his family to some extent. Aster is a genuine person. He creates original things seemingly out of nothing, and even his family cannot explain how he does it. Because of this, his little sister, Kati, takes advantage of his talents, having him help invent new products for her online store. He helps because he is devoted to his family. Though some of his ideas may already exist, he does not research them beforehand.
Among his siblings, Aster is the calmest. This might be because he is aloof, but he does not seem to panic. In fact, more often than not, it's extremely hard to make him panic, especially in any kind of danger. The only time he has shown panic in front of others, especially in his family, is when his youngest sister, whom he is very close to, is in some kind of danger.

Sterling Love (Adopted Father, America) - Aster knew Sterling back when he was known as Thirteen, as it was his formal name at the time. So, he was quite surprised to discover that Thirteen and America are the same person. Of course, with that said. He didn't have any relationship with Sterling at that time, and it wasn't until he was 'sold' that he finally got to know him.

Liberty Love (Adopted Mother)- Aster doesn't know anything about his mother, nor did he ever feel any motherly love from anyone else. So, he didn't know what to do when Liberty took it upon herself to be his mother figure. But over time, he finally recognizes this feeling and makes a vow to protect this woman so it doesn't fade. Fekla Love (Alaska's wife, unknown countryhuman)- Aster met Fekla when he was about 309, and she was only 20. At that time, his father, Iyudka, and Fekla's parents decided that the two should be married. Less than a year later, they got married, and right from the start, their parents pressured them to have a child. Their first child, Ester, was born the following year and was the only one born as Russian, as Ester was 'sold' the next year. This does mean Fekla had to go with him to live with Sterling. During this time, Aster was trying to adjust to having caring parents, even though they were younger than him. Fekla, at the same time, didn't like being here, nor did she even like Aster, especially since he was starting to get close to this 'family'.
After being with Sterling and Liberty, I see what marriage is supposed to be like. He decided to try to make his own marriage more than just a forced one, but one out of love. In the end, Fekla didn't want this and only saw that Aster was someone she was supposed to give children to, despite his efforts. Aster wasn't aware of this at all and kept trying. It wasn't until his fourth child that he realized this might not work. So in the end, he let her go.

This ability is a bit misleading. This does not mean Alaska can produce crystals or regulate their size or quantity. The word "Crystal" is supposed to be another name for ice, while "Regulator" is associated with control. This means he can control how much ice is used and how big or small the ice can be.
This ability causes Alaska to produce cold temperatures around its body. For this reason, he must wear winter clothes to the extent possible. If he doesn't, anyone near him will feel like it's winter, and the water near him will be turned to ice.

Little Lights
This ability allows Aster to summon small northern lights. The limit of this right now is just the size of his palm, but it is believed he can make it even bigger. Unlike his other abilities, this one doesn't aid him in combat; instead, he uses it to cheer up his siblings, children, niece, and nephew.
Although this ability allows him to create small northern lights in his state, it gradually drains his energy. This, of course, depends on the size of the lights. The bigger they are, the more energy they drain.

Aster has the tail and ears of a moose as well as the antlers that are quite big for his height and age. Aster loves his fruits and tends to eat them last, as it's his favorite part. He will also eat bark off of trees during the winter, and he tries not to, but can't help himself most of the time. He is also a great swimmer. Just like a moose, Aster doesn't get aggressive, but a simple provocation or even fright can make him aggressive. This won't work with the victim, as he's quite unpredictable. And just because one person makes him aggressive doesn't mean others around him won't go unpunished. However, unlike the animal, Aster only has two legs, so he can't kick behind him as they could. But it can be avoided as long as the person doesn't provoke or frighten him. Of course, that's only part of it; if he is harassed or senses danger, it will cause this as well.

Yana (A male brown bear)- Yana isn't exactly a pet but just a bear that Aster has nursed back to health. However, Aster wasn't able to find Yana's mother, mainly because he was alone when he saw him. He believes the mother may have been killed earlier that day.
Astral (Female gray wolf) - Astral is in the same vein as Yana. She was just a wolf cub that Aster found and ended up raising when he couldn't see her pack.
Luna (Female Alaskan Malamute) - She has silver and white fur in a nose bar style coat and brown eyes. (That means there's a dark or brand of color on the nose.)
Shiva (Female Alaskan Malamute) - She has an entirely black coat and light blue eyes.
Laika (Male Alaskan Malamute) - He has black and white fur in an eye shadow style with brown eyes. (Eyeshadow means there is a mark of color under the eyes and doesn't connect like the goggles.)
Admiral (Male Alaskan Malamute) - He has entirely white fur and shimmering amber eyes.
Blu (Male Alaskan Malamute) - He has blue and white fur in a goggle style with green eyes. (Google style is just the fur marking, making it look like he is wearing goggles.)

Fun Fact:
1: The reason why Aster is overly protective of Kanani isn't just because she's his little sister or what happened during WWII. Kanani looks like her mother, Liberty, who was just as protective of her as she is of Kanani. That is just one reason. The other reason was a silent vow he made when Liberty (despite being a human) had finally died after living over two hundred years.
2: After Liberty died, Aster locked himself away from his family. He barely spoke or ate, and he would not leave his room unless it was to take care of Kanani. It wasn't until two years later that he finally started to open back up, but that's only because of Kanani.
