I wake up from the darkness. Sunlight is streaming from the windows. I get up and see that I am still in my wedding dress, but this is not my bed or my room. I get up. I walk around. I go towards the window and look around. This is not my castle either. Just then the door opens.
"Ah, so you are awake.", a masculine voice behind me sounds.
I know that voice.
"Why did you bring me here?"
"To marry you."
"Even if a thousand stars fall from the sky, I will not marry you."
"No?", he taunts.
I hear approaching footseps behind me. I still face the window, looking outside. He stands behind me, caging me between his arms. He comes closer.
"By tonight, you will be in my bed as my wife", he whispers in my ear and kisses the skin behind my ear.
I shudder. The sensation shocking me and sending a heat down to my center.
" My servants will attend to you. Eat your food and get downstairs. We need to get married by this afternoon. And do not try to escape, my dear. It will not end well with you ", he threatens dangerously.
He closes the door and is gone after a moment. The servants come and serve me my breakfast.
After I am done, I am bathed in milk and honey and in varios sweet-smelling sensuous oils. They dress me in the same wedding dress and do my hair. I look into the mirror and a beautiful person is standing infront of me. I realize that is my reflection.
Within two hours, the wedding ceremony is finished and I am sitting in the banquet hall where everyone is eatingand drinking and making merry. Cosmo, my husband is beside me.
I start to feel light-headed. All this excitement is too much for me. I start to feel dizzy. I get up to excuse myself and retire to my room.
Cosmo looks up at me. He thinks I am getting ready for my wedding night.
He kisses me as I get up.
The whole table errupts in cheers.
"Wait for me, mia moglie.", he whispers near my ear.
"I am going to sleep. I am tired", I whisper back.
"You will not cheat me out of my wedding night, cara", he whispers forcefully.
I shrug myself out of his embrace and go to our chamber.
I feel so exhausted. Without another thought I go to the bed and fall asleep within minutes.
I guess my husband will not have the wedding night he is looking forward tonight... was my last conscious thought.
