"Did he just say what I think he said?" Lucas says as he stares at the TV.
I sit quietly contemplating what our next move would be. This isn't good for anyone anymore. The world that all supernatural beings tried so hard to keep hidden from humans has now been exposed.
"Kora, what do you see?" I look to my oracle friend for advice.
Her eyes turning an icy shade of blue as she takes a deep breath in. It takes about 2 minutes before she lets out an ice cold puff of mist and blinks the blue from her eyes. Her head falls forward into her hands before she responds, "darkness, Riley, all I see is darkness." Her hands start shaking before she passes out. I rush over to catch her before she hits the floor. The one flaw to her magic when overused; her inability to move for a few hours.
"I guess she was curious to see more than she should have," Lucas says as he rubs his forehead.
"What do we do, Luc?" I ask, scared out of my mind.
"I honestly don't know, Ri. I just don't know."
