This is what’s left of me,

Broken necklaces and bleeding knuckles.

Precious pinky promises long forgotten.

It's not my fault I ended up this way,

Cold and desolate.

Well, I suppose it is my fault.

I could have left,

Could have stepped away from your poison,

But I drank it all.

It was bitter,

Much different from your sweet aura and disposition.

I still can't get the taste out of my mouth,

It lingers, a constant reminder of my pain and ignorance.

Some people say ignorance is bliss,

But I think it makes you blind and manipulable.

I was blinded by your charm and the way you lied, as easy as breathing.

This is what’s left of me,

Shards of a girl I used to be,

Now that you’ve broken me.
