在澳洲的一年工作假期，為了體驗農場生活，去了士多啤梨園採摘士多啤梨，並且居住在當地的家庭中。

每個星期只會去一次超級市場買食物，當地的奇異食物真的不少，但萬萬沒想到袋鼠是很普遍的食材，而最意外的是可以買到袋鼠內臟。

同住的香港朋友真的甚麼也要試，最慘的是他選在想要減肥的日子去試這可怕的食材，結果他選的烹調方法是白灼。

袋鼠肉比牛肉嫩一點，帶點羶，會吃羊的應該可以接受。但袋鼠內臟加白灼，那個羶味卻比羊羶超太多太多，是足足一星期也消散不去的。

朋友說它跟甚麼牛呀，豬呀，雞呀內臟沒兩樣，但不好意思，那個羶味真的沒辦法接受。東西放了入口甚麼也感覺不到，然後直接就吐掉了。羶味還留在口中，久久不散。
