I felt a lot better after coming out of the cafeteria. The air was way fresher. I hummed a song while skipping along. A shadow appeared out of nowhere, blocking my path. The person stood in the middle of the path, not intending to let me pass.The face looked familiar... ohh right! It's the girl from this morning!
"What's wrong? I don't even know you, and why are you blocking my path?" I asked, confused.
"I'm warning you, stay away from Jonah. Or else..." Adelina looked as if she was about to explode.
I shrugged,"Sure. You can talk to Jonahh about that. I have nothing to do with it."
"You!" Adelina's face turned as red as a tomato. Her hand rose up and swung in the direction of my face. I closed my eyes, expecting a sting to spread through my face. However, I didn't feel the pain. I slowly opened my eyes. In front of me, another hand was blocking Adelina's hand from slapping me.
"Are you done yet? Stop being so rude!" It was Noah. I breathed in relief.
Adelina cursed and walked away.
Noah turned towards me,"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." I smiled back at him and then asked,"Why are you here? Didn't you leave a long time ago?"
"Eh..not really. I was still waiting for you." Noah blushed.
"Oh okay, then let's go." Noah and I walked towards the classroom.
