Detective Gregory handed the document over. Mark stared at it for a while in astonishment, then handed it to Jude to study.
"Not... really...?! Please..."
The Detective looked down gravely.
"I'm afraid so, sonny."
"Shawn..."
Mark didn't feel like football. Not without Shawn.
But... Shawn had a sense. He wouldn't take aspirin... would he...?
Coach Hillman called a meeting.
Xavier coughed almost uncontrollably. Jordan rushed over to the bench to fetch his friend some water.
"Due to Shawn's recent..." he struggled to find the right word. "Loss, we seem to have lost spirit. He wouldn't have wanted this, would he? So to cheer us all up, I've arranged a friendly game against Royal Academy-"
"Oh,CRAP! Xavier!" Jordan shouted.
He crouched down beside the boy with the red hair who had just collapsed onto the floor.
