"Harder! Hit me harder!" Mark Evans shouted across the field.
Axel jumped into the air.
"Fireball Storm!" He cried, hitting the ball with all his might.
The ball flew at Mark in a ball of flames.
"Ijiin the Hand!"
The sudden forcefield shook the ground. The ball tumbled over the goal.
Axel smiled.
"You're getting better, Mark."
Mark grinned.
"Yeah!"
Then he spotted the boy with the silver spiky hair.
"Hey, Shawn! Wanna try out some moves?"
"Uh, sure," Shawn replied.
Axel passed him the ball, and he leapt into the air.
"Legendary Wolf!"
The ball shot at Mark at an alarming speed.
"Ijiin the Hand!"
This time the ball kept on going on its' journey to the centre of the goal. Mark gritted his teeth and the ball flew over again.
Shawn smiled.
"You're good."
"Shawn, that was..." Mark glanced down at his hands. "Awesome! It was a lot faster than before!"
"Time for a practice game," thundered the voice of Coach Hillman.
Everyone ran towards him and gathered around.
But no-one saw Shawn look down and almost clasp his stomach in pain.
Somewhere far away, a thin man with long hair smiled.
Raimon was split into two teams, and the practice match began.
Axel took the ball, suddenly realising at the last moment that he had been marked from the very beginning.
"Snow Angel!"
Shawn grabbed the ball and ran in the opposite direction.
He looked down and nearly cried out. But he kept in going without a word.
"Xavier! Here!" He passed beautifully.
Xavier took the ball down to Darren's end of the field.
Suddenly, it was taken from his control.
Hurley grinned as he took the ball in the opposite direction.
Then he stopped.
He left the ball and instead ran, towards Shawn, who was now lying motionless on the ground.
