You know sometimes I keep telling myself, I am going to find out about this little secret Nikira decided to keep from me.

I mean, even stan knows, well atleast I think he does, both him and Nikira are talking in hushed voices.

If it's so serious, why even tell anyone. I know theo would tell me, his heart is made of gold, but the others...

Let's just not go there.

We've been walking for a long time now, Nikira and Stan are a few steps ahead of me. I assumed we would reach the town quicker, because last time when Nikira and I were heading to her house we arrived there in a day, but since we are was sooo sloww I can just say that is my explanation.

Im so annoyed I can't help but eavesdrop, I think they forgot about me, their voices are a bit louder. I walk up, coming a little closer to them, hearing what they have to say.

"Theo was about to open his mouth, if we hadn't reached in time-"

"But we did." Stan cuts her off.

"But-" once again Nikira is cut off.

"No buts, she doesn't know, she won't know anything until her memories are back."

"Thats what I'm scared about." Nikira says, timidly.

"Are you trying to hide the truth from her? And you say she's so close to you she's almost like a sister." Stan questions her, raising his eyebrow in concern.

Nikira feels that way for me?!?

"You don't understand, when she finds out about everything that's it. She'll be back to suicidal mode, dying for her people, dying for selfish, evil, and cruel people. I can't let her go stan." She's now whispering, she sounds as if she's crying. "If she tries to do exactly what she did then, I'm going take my life. Not let her take her own."

Stan is nodding, and I see tears dribble down his face. "I don't know shit, because I've only been in this world once, but all I'm saying is that we will do everything it takes, everything."

I take a few steps backward, because Nikira starts to turn her head.

I don't think about what they said firstly because, Nikira will realize I was eavesdropping, secondly, I'm too shocked.

We keep walking for a bit until stan finally speaks up."Let's take a rest, the skies are darkening."

He points at a large oak tree, he quickly runs towards it and takes out some things from his bag.

Are you kidding me.

We cannot sleep outside. No fucking way!

I groan, I don't know what is in Stan's mind, I am certainly not sleeping outside, under a tree, which I can add to.

In the middle of no where.

"Yes you are." Nikira is watching me with eagle eyes.

I don't like the way she is looking at me, it's as if I stole her kidneys.

"No." I am not staying outside, in the cold, in the middle of nowhere and sleep in peace. She must be insane to think that.

"You scared?" She smirks at me." You know we can always cuddle."

I swear at her, I don't have time for snuggles and cuddles. I want to get the hell out of here.

I am having a bad feeling about this place.

"What if we get killed, whilst we are sleeping." I ask, that is my main concern.

"Are you serious? Nobody wants you dead, they want to alive. So cut the crap " Nikira walks over to Stan, helping him make something to eat.

What crap do I have to cut? I haven't pooped since this morning.

I'll keep it in mind when I use the bushes in the night.

Which reminds me.

"How am I supposed wipe my butt if I need to shit?" I laugh when I see their faces, they didn't plan on how to wipe your bottom.

"With leaves, if they're under your standard hold your crap." Stan rudely suggests, who even holds their crap?

That is pure bull.

"Whatever." I sigh, and walk up to them. "I'm hungry, what are you making?" 

"Your morning meal, you eat too much. Let fresh air be your supper." Nikira giggles, trying to make to make me laugh.

I growl. "since when did I become fat!"

"No one said-"

"You basically did-"

"What is wrong with you? Can't you take a joke. I am so tired of hearing you leak your mouth. Shut up!" Stan butts in, giving me a cold stare.

This man needs help. Can't wait for him to fuck up Nikira's feelings. - I say peacefully in my head.

It's so true, stan is always there for Nikira. And Nikira is what? A minute older than me, a minute and 32 seconds more glorious than me. This is wrong.

Aged gap love.

And she aparently has a one.

Is she cheating already?

Gross.

Nikira, who reads my mind forever, glares at me. Her hand is raised, she is about to slap me.

But then all of a sudden, she drops her hand and opens her mouth. Wide.

"How do you know I'm a minute older than you?" Her eyes literally pop out of it's sockets. "H-how do you know I'm one minute 32 seconds older than you."

Um.

"um..I think you told me, when we were you know..bonding." I reply, not actually sure.

"B-but I we never mentioned that. Ever." She turns to Stan and whispers. "It can't be possible.."

Stan has the same face as Nikira right now. "But theo Said-"

"It's because of her visions, they're helping her remember things. Bit by bit." Nikira looks so scared, I'd want to go and wrap my arms around her.

But then I think again.

My memories are returning, and I don't even realize it.

Both stan and Nikira looks at me, they have the most horrific expressions on their face.

I can't stand around watching them, so I turn around use my coat as a cover and shut my eyes. Ignoring the fact that my stomach wants to be fed. Or that a serial killer could be roaming around, looking for me.

I wake up early, because both stan and Nikira are sleeping. And the sky hasn't full brightened yet.

I try to get up, but I feel Nikira's arms wrapped around me.

Seriously.

I remove them gently off my waist, and get up. My stomach, who is probably mad at me, is screaming at me to feed it.

I look over to see there's some fruit in Stan's bag, which he most likely forgot to zip.

My eyes stick on the fruit, bananas, apples, pears and my favorite blueberries.

I run toward it and start eating like a madman, I peel the bananas and stuff them in my mouth. Savouring every one.

I get water from my bag, and wash the blueberries and stuff them in my face.

When I am finally full, I realize how evil I was. I only left one miserable pear.

It wouldn't hurt to give it one bite would it? I try to behave, but I can't. I eat the whole thing, even the stick is gone.

Man was I hungry.

I quickly try and go back to sleep, pretending that I didn't do anything.

"And you didn't atleast let me have that last pear?"

Shit.

Stan laughs. "I watched you eat everything, I knew it was going to happen. So I put the proper food in nik's bag."

I only call her Nik, nobody else.

"Good for you." I walk away, I'm not interested.

He tugs my arm, and drags me back, I give him my most coldest, darkest glare. "What the fuck do you want?!?" I yell, causing Nikira to wake up.

I just wanted a stress free morning, which includes no talking to the other two people who have 'trust issues'.

"Scar stop making a fuss of everything, your doing my head in." Nikira complains, giving me a cold, dark glare.

I wanted to scream 'f-u' to her, but I know what that'll be asking for.

Stan's slaps.

I have no spare clothes so I just roam through my bag, which has some items I had when I was a kid.

A small sculpture of two girls hugging, faces hidden, ribbons, blue and grey, and a toy.

The toy is the item I hate the most, it has stitches all over itself with bruises on top of them. It looks worse than the woman wrapped in black silk.

I hate it, but I have no choice but to carry it with me, when I was fifteen I cut it's fingers off because they looked creepy.

Before I realized it, blood was seeping out of my fingers, which were attacked to my hands.

And when I turned back to the toy, it had it's fingers back on, with blood seeping through it.

Ever since that incident I treat is with care and love, because whatever I do to it, it will backfire anything back to me. So in the end I give it a name called Ms.Juju.

"You still have that thing." I forgot about stan, who was hovering behind me.

I ignore him, I stuff the voodoo doll and the other stuff in my bag, I get up and start walking in the direct we left off.

"Where are you going?" Nikira yells behind me.

"If we don't hurry, we won't get there in time. Will we?" I reply casually, without turning around.

I hear scrambling and whining, my feet are moving as slow as a turtle's. 

Nikira whines about her hair, and how Damon will think she's ugly when she meets him.

Stan starts yelling my name, saying it's an order for me to come. 

Blah, blah, blah.

Me, well I just carry on walking as of there's nothing going on in the world, I walk up a bit faster.

I hear Nikira panting, she's swearing and saying stuff in a different language. 

Which I understand...

"why, why can't you bloody be normal. Why can't you be who you was, why can't we pick up from me left of." I understood every word she said. That's when I turn around.

"I'm sorry, but this is who I am." I sigh, she just carries on crying. She quickly lifts up her head and raises her eyebrow. 

She gives me the same look, the exact same look, when I told her she was 1 minute 32 seconds older than me.

She screams, and this time she runs up to me and hugs me. I think she's ready for me to return.

"Oh scar..." Is all I hear

#NIKIRA'S P.O.V#

I'm out of breath from running after scar. This girl can be such a bitch, these days her in is more twisted musings than before, stan has changed her so much.

I still can't believe she thinks I have a thing for stan. For STAN!!!

Come on, stan isn't boyfriend material, stan isn't even love material. Plus I've got Damon, he's the only person, apart from scar, who's kept me in pieces. 

Whatever coughed up in scar's weird brain should choke itself out, or I'll pull it out myself.

I'm so frustrated, I speak in dang-ga language, I don't have the strength to call out on her.

"why, why can't you bloody be normal. Why can't you be who you used to be, why can't we pick up from me left of." I'm tired, tired of her being trapped in her own little world, I want my scar back, I want my best friend who I call a sister, back.

That's when she turns around, she has a what-the-hell-did-you-say look, but when I look closer she looks a bit shaky. "I'm sorry, but this us who I am."

I hear her sigh, and that's when I get it, she understood every word I said. 

I can even read it off her mind, and I start crying. Proper crying, she's getting her memories back faster than I expected.

I run up to her her and hug her, I don't want to give the wrong impression, she'll figure out I'm nervous if I don't hug her.

I stick my head in her hair and say,"Oh scar..." I can't say anything else, because I'm scared now. Really scared, if she finds out.

No, what if she already knows but she's keeping it from me?

"Shutup Kiki, you're physic remember.. She only remembers when you mention it. So shut your gob." someone in my head says.

I pull away from the hug, and Scarlett gives me a confused look in return. "We have to go. Now." I say sharply, I turn to look for stan but he's right beside me.

"Let's go." He says, he's already fed up with this morning chaos already. He starts walking from where we left off, scar and I tag along.

I wipe the last of my tears and say in my head. "She will find out later, she will find out about him later."

I put an arm around scar, and fake a smile. She accepts it, thinking I meant it, and sticks by me.

We will be fine.

#Scarlett's P.O.V#

"How long to go." I ask, it has been the fifth time i've asked this question in the last minute.

"Scar..." Nikira gives me a hard look, I turn away. She lets go of our arms, that were entwined together since we left, and takes the lead.

We have been walking for miles, we haven't taken the way we started from. It's a completely different way, and I'm pretty sure it's for our protection. Nikira won't stop leaking her mouth anyway.

Nikira swears with her back to me. "I didn't mean to say that out loud either. Oops."

Well I didn't mean to say that out loud.

"I can see it from here! I See Damon's stall." Nikira is jumping up and down. "I'll meet you there."

"Wait.." Stan starts, but it's too late. She's already in the distance, running her legs off. "Might aswell join her."

Stan chases after Nikira leaving me behind with the rest of the items. 

And then there was one... 

I sigh and pick up the bags stan and Nikira dumped, for me to pick up as their slave, and follow the tracks they left for me.

"Idiots." I mumble.

"Finally Scarlett, what took you so long?" Nikira asks, looking all sweet and innocent.

I glare at her, and ignore her question. "Thanks for leaving your bags with me, it really helped me break some bones."

Nikira glares back at me and mumbles. "Go with the flow, I'll kill you later."

"Cut the crap, I'm assuming that's your boyfriend right behind you..?" I gesture to the guy with ginger hair and green eyes, which sparkle ever so slightly In the light

I smile at him, and he laughs. "Yep, that's me. Nikira you okay sweet?" He says without looking at me, his deep voice bouncing in the soft air. She nods at him, then he turns his attention to me and slaps his head. Hard.

"Am I that forgetful? Holy shit. Scar?" He finally looks at me."Scarlett! Answer me." He's shaking my arms, he's eyes glued to my eyes.

Silence...

Nikira breaks the silence and pulls Damon's arm off mine. "You're freaking her out, calm down babe." 

"But she looked so zoned out, I thought theo helped her. I thought she remembered more. Or atleast me." Damon sighs, Nikira shoots him a questioning look.

"What about theo? He didn't do much." Nikira says, her eyes resting on me.

"If she's remembering things, it's going too slow. I'll try and help her for the week." He rubs his head, "Did you tell her yet? About arth-"

"Shut up." Nikira snaps, tearing her gaze from me back to her boyfriend.

"Nikira! How could you not tell her." Damon is clenching his fists, I can see he's trying to calm down." I would call you a fool, but you'd rip my parts and feed them to me in my sleep, but I won't. If you're trying to hide her from him, you can't. He's here, he's gone to theo, they're talking somewhere about God knows what. But we all know." 

Everyone looks at me, and I realize stan hasn't said a word. Not one single word.

Some other people around Damon's stall is watching us...me.

"Then we'll leave by nightfall." Nikira whispers. She looks scared. "I'll come back later, just as long as she's safe-"

"I can protect myself, thank you." I cut in.

"Not you can't." 

"I can."

"Can't."

"Can."

"Can't

"Can-"

"Shutup. Both of you. Why are you acting like two pieces of shit." Stan finally speaks up, he looks over to Damon and gestures to him to let him carry on his little 'speech'.

"Thank you." He looks over to Nikira." You're not leaving until the Swan, you can't just hide scar just because you're afraid of what will happen between them. Let them fix their issues, not you."

Nikira looks down at the floor defeated, and just when Damon thought he'd won she says. "You know exactly what happened, I'm not protecting Scarlett, I'm protecting both of them. I don't want the past to repeat itself. Ever." 

"It won't, because we are together this time. We know what we're up against, they think we're weaker because Scarlett went. They don't know she's still alive, healthy and strong." Damon emphasizes on the 'they'.

And just when I'm about to ask who 'they' is, a young guy walks right up to us. He has a lightly tanned body, his body perfectly sculpted. His arms are bulging out of his clean short-sleeved white tee, and his eyes are what catch my attention. They're blue-greenish, earth, the same colour as my eyes.

He looks at me, as if he found out he doesn't have cancer anymore, my body tingles."Scar..?" 

I bite my lip and nod. "Yes?" my voice wavering a bit.

Why would someone that beautiful want to talk to me?

I turn to Nikira and she's bright red, stan is shocked, and Damon is watching every move I make.

I turn around to the guy, to find out he's right up to my chest, the tingling feeling in my body seems to enjoy this, butterflies start dancing in my stomach.

The guy slips his arms around my waist, which makes the tingling even more faster. He pulls me right to his face, and his lips connect to mine.

"I've missed you." He mumbles whilst kissing me.

And that's when I knew who he was.

Arthur.

The hottest being in history, is making out with me.

I kiss him back, because now I understand.

Arthur is my boyfriend.

The guy that was in my vision with Nikira. He was there for me, and Nikira was trying to make me run away from him.

Everyone around me fades, and my attention is just on arthur.
