MY MORNING

I hopped out of bed

this morning and,

I know that this makes no sense,

but I thought that Connor

might like me a teensy

tiny bit.

Oh how I was let down

when he didn’t look at

me again near the gate.

I stared at him

until the bell rang,

and I think some of

his friends noticed,

but to be honest,

I don’t care anymore.

People can judge me

I don’t get enough

attention anyways.

MY AFTERNOON

After I had all of my classes

and felt so bored I could

die,

I opened my mom’s car

door and sulked in

the passenger seat.

my attitude was

happy, sunny day.

that he’s bringing over tonight

My eyebrows furrowed

Yep, a friend that’s a girl

Are you sure that she’s

not his girlfriend?

DERIK’S “FRIEND”

Tonight was another night

when Derik brought a

new “friend” to our house.

My parents believe that

these girls are just his

friends,

but I know that that

is not the case.

my brother,

being tall,

tan and

muscular,

(at least as far

as 15 year old

muscles go)

he’s a

ladies man.

But my parents wouldn’t

like it if he got a girlfriend.

No siree.

The girl he brought over

tonight was named

Emma.

She’s really pretty

But really basic.

Blonde.

Tall.

Blinding white teeth.

She even brought

Dutch Bros.

She also acted like I

was 6 years old by

the way she talked to me.

So obviously she was surprised

when I told her that I

was in seventh grade,

because I guess I look like

a 6 year old to strangers.

because Emma

said something about

For some reason he

forgot to tell her that

he's not supposed to be

dating anyone.

She probably feels

really bad for him now,

but I don’t know

how Derik thought

he was going

to be able to get

through the whole

night without getting

caught.
