I learned what it is to taste yellow. It was a pillow on a hardwood floor all mine, a urge for the sweet and a surprise treat. Specifically, a moon pie that I’d forgotten I’d had. As I ate I learned what it is to be happy.

The moonlight is but sunshine reflection. That doesn’t mean the lunar light from the moon is not her own, nor just as beautiful. Her fluffy inside is rivaled only by her sunny glow. Baked to perfection, she deserves every window seal to cool on. How could she not stand out on the aisle when surrounded by nothing but darkness and void.

Moon Pie Origins

A gentle giant that lives among the stars loves telling jokes. He tells his jokes to the soft moon who laughs so hard she cries. Those tears fall through the cake belt, collecting it’s crumbs and plunges through banana clouds before landing on earth as the moon pies we know and love. Moonspectors mine them out and wrap them up and that’s how moon pies are made.
