A few days ago I ate my first Moon Pie, it was 2 AM, in a new house, in my new empty bedroom, sitting on a pillow in the floor and the moment was so calm and so happy and so simple it sparked inspiration. I put the experience into different poetry forms to express my love of Moon Pies and to cement that moment I’ll always cherish.
