It was a shiny morning. There was cloud all over the sky and as always there was our bright little sun. We all were as fresh as any other day. But there was a slight difference, Lia was not there. I thought maybe she was awake very early.
We all were folding out bed, I saw Lia's bed. "That silly little girl didn't fold her bed," I told myself as I went to fold her bed.380Please respect copyright.PENANAzJi31nTw7d
Suddenly a scream filled the air, making me jump and run towards the source of the loud sound.
We all rushed to see who it was. I just couldn't believe my eye, it was her, it was Lia!!!. how did it happen to her? Her legs were all injured badly, it looked like someone broke her legs.
We called our teacher and the principal. They called the ambulance and took Lia away.
I'm incredibly afraid that she is going to die. I just can not control my emotions. My heart is crying out. I asked if I can go to the hospital and see how she is. The principal informed me, "Miss Lilly had already gone with her, and you can do is to pray for her safety and health".
Every night I used to stare at the stars and her face. She was the only one whom I loved dearly. Most of the time I found her sleeping next to me.
A week later she came back from the hospital, we all rushed to her.
"How are you, Lia? Are you okay?" I asked her.
"I'm fine, just a slight pain in my legs," She told with a smiling face. I knew she was only pretending to be happy.
She sat in a corner as she sat everybody gathered around her as you already know she was incredibly shy, so her cheeks became red. She spoke, "Please tell everyone not to gather around." I knew that she was shy, so I told everyone to not gather around her.
The principal told me to ask her what had happened. She thought she would be more comfortable sharing that night's traumatic events with someone she was close to and that just happened to be me. So, I sat next to her and asked what had happened to her.
She started narrating what had happened, "When it was night someone took me up to the third floor and dropped me from there. I couldn't shout, my voice was gone somehow. I can't remember anything after that."
"Do you know who did that to you?" I asked her.
"No, that person had been wearing white clothes and his face was covered," She told me.
I knew that she never says lie, so I asked her does she know of anyone who might have seen something, she told me, "No."
We were left wondering who could have possibly committed such horrible acts and why did they did so? Another question kept bugging me, how did she even survive after falling for such a height? Her story doesn't seem to add up, but I know she never lies, so what could I possibly miss?
