It was winter. It was extremely cold and fog covered everything I could see. We had one room for all people of the same age. We would all sleep right next to each other and learn together. There used to be a leader in each room. The leader should take care of all the roommates. They would be responsible for the people and furniture of the room. And moreover, the leader should be intelligent and wise. he or she should know good things that can help the children improve their skills and eligibility.
I never wished to become the leader of the room, but unbelievably, I was the leader. Since the winter vacation had begun, I had more of a burden was placed on me. All of the girls would be here, so taking care of the girls would be so much more work. I have to make sure they don't make much noise, teach them a new concept and so much more.
On one dark night, we were all going to sleep, as it was already 11:55. We all got into our beds before we were disturbed by a sudden knock on our door. We were all very scared and confused as to who could be knocking on our door at this time of the night.
"Elizabeth, you're our leader so you should be the one to open the door," Lia, my best friend told me.
My mind couldn't stop worrying. I really didn't want to open the door. What if there is a thief or a ghost or... I was going insane.
"What are you doing, Elizabeth? Open the door!" another girl shouted.
I just thought to myself if they were ever in my position, they would know how I was feeling. But the thing is that now I am the leader! So I have to deal with this alone and I need to open the door.
I went near the door," w-w-who are y-y-you?" I stuttered nervously.
No answer came instead of the door knocked once more. I turned around to see no one there. I was incredibly surprised that all the girls locked themselves up in another room, leaving me alone. My fear was immediately amplified at the realization I was completely alone with the sound of knocking and the person knocking.
The knock repeats. With a shivering hand, I opened the door. And to my surprise. It was my older sister, Emily with her friend. I wasn't completely evil of them replying when I asked them who they are and to come on such a dark night.
They first laughed, as my face had become red. Then they told me that my teacher had sent them to check that I'm an eligible leader of my cabin. I laughed out loud that, this was just a test.409Please respect copyright.PENANArfYqxDJSD0
I am still angry with my roommates and I'm guessing you know why.
