　　在「852區」，每人過著既完美又自由的生活。由政府安排工作，保證每人均入住宿舍，衣食無憂。金錢一律採用智能卡代替，額度均有三十天使用期限，完全沒有貧富懸殊。

　　擔心過著一成不變的生活？政府開發出模擬真人生活的虛擬實境遊戲「翌命」。只要駁上連接器，閉上眼，馬上就能在「翌命」裡開展另一段人生。

　　某天，一款不是由政府開發的「翌命」橫空出世。主角們登入後，竟然遇到充滿人性化的電腦角色。以為了解更多，卻發現離事實更遠。

　　「852區」又會否是你的理想國度？
