Growing up

As I find my eternal peace

To learn to let go

My mission will be to find release

When I become elderly

As I try to stay alive

To learn how to provide

My mission will be to survive

When I become an adult

As I worked through strife

To learn my place in society

My mission was to enjoy life

When I was a teenager

As I fell along the way

To learn to pick myself up

My mission was to play

When I was a child
