Little book of Poetry - Wanderlust

Look upon the skies with an astronomer's gaze,

Watch for those shooting star opportunities

The stars connect and create an intricate maze,

Forming a sky full of mysteries

Be that wide-eyed wanderer

That explores the great unknown

Never settle for anything less than an explorer

Never be afraid to travel the paths shown

The sky is only the limit if you don't fly

Trust your own wings to help you soar

If you're willing to look at the world with a birds eye

Then you'll see that there's is so much more

Stop stranding yourself on the sea shore

There's so much more to see if you lose sight of the lands

Be bold and dive deep to the ocean floor,

You'll be surprised at all the different sands

Mount Everest would be a low point on your journey

Just keep climbing until there's nothing left to climb

There's no one you have to prove to that you're worthy,

Because they'll see the marks you've left in time

Rest your weary wandered feet

There's no race that needs to be beaten today

The time in between is used for the new faces you meet

To share in a moment in the wanderlust way
