Dante and Marxy stand near each other on the training grounds. The trainer was walking up and down spitting demeaning words at everyone. He came to Dante and spat worthless in his face. As the man was about to advance to another Dante stepped out of the line.

He started to swing at Dante. Dante blocks with ease. The Trainer ups the ante and swings a few more times. Dante blocks the attacks and comes back with a parry. Dante then throws out an array of swift attacks that slice the Trainer’s blade into three small pieces.
The Trainer looks in shock. Dante swings the blade quickly and brings it to his face.

Dante gets on the ground. Caroline continues to look as Dante gets to 100 without so much as a break of sweat. The Trainer was getting mighty angry.
Dante was at 1000 without a drop of sweat. The Trainer was pulling at his hair. Caroline snickered and he turned to her with a smile. Marxy was laughing without making a sound.

Dante and everyone take off. The Trainer gets into tower control and sits back. He watches as Dante takes off past everyone.
Behind him was Marxy. She was about 100 feet behind. Behind her was Caroline, about 50 feet behind. The rest…they were far behind.

TRAINER: What’s up with her?
OFFICER: Who?
TRAINER: The one behind them. She’s not competing with the girl, she’s after the boy. Who is she?
OFFICER: Caroline Doransy. She told us that she is a Cambria, species type II. From her medical log, at least the one we’ve recently created; she is shown to be extremely resilient. He muscle mass is that of a normal female her size but its density is almost 3 times that of a normal Klingon Female.
Her lungs can store oxygen and keep her alive up to 30 minutes without breathing. Her Brain tissue is nearly 8 times more complex than any humanoid’s we’ve ever encountered, even Vulcan.
She nearly invulnerable to any disease on this side of the galaxy. And her endurance is apparently trained.
TRAINER: So it’s not all natural.
OFFICER: Not all of it, but she’s certainly built to take some of our heaviest test.

OFFICER: Um, wrong. Their muscle density leads us to believe that it might be possible for them to lift…nearly ten tons.
TRAINER: That’s impossible.
OFFICER: They can…something keeps them from doing so though. They’re the most advanced humans we’ve ever come across and we’ve gotten some weird ones sir.
TRAINER: Something is funny about that Brassen family. Turn off Caroline’s emergency transporter. As soon as he makes it to the top, bring him to me. You remember Drew right?
OFFICER: Yes sir.
TRAINER: Let’s make sure hotshot isn’t anything like that case; otherwise, I’m recommending he never see a day in battle.

Dante makes it to the top within 10 hours. He grabs the flag with a lot of sweat on his face. He smiles and looks down. Marxy was behind but coming fast. Caroline was 3 quarters the way. She seemed winded.

TRAINER: Play humble. Sure. Listen, we’re ending the whole thing now and we have an issue. That girl there, her line won’t release and we need to get it cut. As soon as she’s cut down the rest of everyone will be let loose.
DANTE: Nah. Let her finish. She’s more than halfway to the end.
TRAINER: We have more work to do kid. Cut her down, that’s an order.

Marxy makes it to the top. She laughs and jumps. She is transported to the bottom. Dante is handed a boomerang. He looks at the line and throws the boomerang. It spins at the line and slices it in half.
Caroline screams and she tumbles down. Dante looks back.

Dante was in a dust cloud when she turned. He ran down the rugged terrain. He leaped over a large rock and flipped forward. He started jumping from rock to rock and flips forward a few times.
He knocks a few officers on the ground and leaps off others. He makes it to the bottom. He jumps up and catches Caroline. He falls on his back and she opens her eyes. She looks at him.
He lets out a breath of relief and screams. She gets up quickly.

CAROLINE: You saved me.
