A journalist stood on the other side of the bars staring at him blankly, he had a brown suit and black tie with a white button shirt underneath. And had brown business man pants and shoes. His pale face glistened in the dark surroundings, while his neatly done brown hair blended in. "John, do you mind if I ask you some questions?" Asked the journalist.
The journalist stared at John's dark blue jumpsuit, his precise painted tattooed arms reached for the metal barb on the top bunk to help him get up. His tan skin and bald head fitted in with the menacing setting. John stood up slowly, and walked up face to face with the journalist. "I don't mind; ask away," said John in a deep low voice. A small drop of sweat rolled down the grasslands of the journalist's head. "Alright, first question. Why did you brutally assaulted twenty policemen" Asked the journalist. John gave a light chuckle at that question. "They weren't police, they were gang members. See that's how they get they're hands on the innocent," said John. "They disguise themselves as the law in forcers to make the people feel safe, they're quiet sharks that the people can't hide from." The journalist's brown pupils trembled as John's words penetrated his ears, but shook it off eventually. "Ok but why not tell the police what's going on." A smile rose from John, "They wouldn't listen, you don't understand because your from the safe paradise of America," said John. "The police are not gonna question these guys. These people planted the monster of fear into every mexican soul throughout this land," said John. "The government can't help us, they're lust for money is too big and this army sized gang used it to they're advantage!"
Soon the whole prison block looked over the john, not a soul said a word, they all knew those words sang wisdom to they're ears, the fighting stopped, arguing and yelling stopped in the whole cell block. All of the criminal ears opened up to listen to John. John noticed, John was not afraid to speak the truth, no matter how bad or good, even if it got him murdered.
"You know what, I'm just gonna tell you everything I know, don't bother with the questions," said John.
The journalist nodded, he was now feeling uncomfortable with all the rapid killer's looking his way in total silence.
"You know why I killed those blood thirsty thugs, you know why I bombed the military training center to bits and pieces with thousands of fatalities as the topping," said John. "Because those Zetas are slowly taking over Mexico, those men possess the ability to go to war on its own country, emotion is what keeps us from killing our brothers." Said John. "But when you look into those demons in human costumes, you will see without a doubt that, god! Dios did not make them in his image!" Said John. "It's the criminal power they posses is what makes you feel weak, they make you feel like you have been stripped from your manhood, said John. "But a great man invented the mightiest of all words in the English and Spanish dictionary fellow rebels," said John looking at his cell mates. "This man felt the knife of pain, he tasted the flames of gore, and he witnessed the golden gates of success, this great man invented the most honorable word, Revolution!" Said John in a raised voice.
"Yes sir!" Yelled the crowed.
"It's right around the corner, we can already smell revolution, but we can't touch it, but I assure you that it's there!" Said John. "A great man named Marthon Luther king witnessed revolution right before his very eyes, but he didn't get to see it finish. He believed that peaceful protest was the answer," said John. "But revolution is about gore! it's about war! It sweeps the floor with the mop of voilence in the battle field, My friends revolution is bloody at its core," said John.
"Yes sir!" Said the crowd.
"This is the reason I did these crimes, the judge told me, whether it's for good or evil; your spending time for life," said John. "But something needs to change, these dark days need to end it's vast range," said John.
"Yes sir!"
"Your whole life your parents taught you, your teachers taught you that voilence is not the key, but all a peaceful protest is gonna get you is a pool of blood a knee high," said John. "But we already see it this way, now we can't go overseas to escape this, we can't cross those borders to escape this, we need to clean the mean streets of Mexico," said John.
"Yes sir!"
"We need to cripple the chains of the system! A human should not live in constant fear, the police should not clear corpses, and a child should not hear gun shots regularly," said John.
"Yes sir!"
At the corner of John's eye, he saw policemen heading his way, he knew what was coming next, but instead of crying and pleading for mercy, he simply gave up trying to escape this problem. "Sometimes one man can't make revolution come his way for his people, and those men have to pay the price for failing," said John. "But even though I may not see the glory of change, I am counting on you people to make a change when your out there, if you don't think you can fight the system, then that's why you got your brothers and sisters who will fight this war side by side, revolution will shower Mexico, it might not be today, or the next day. But I promise, Mexico has a due date for a shower I promise!" Said John.
And John left the cell block with his cell mates cheering him on, and clapping at the volume of a thousand roaring elephants. But his heart pounded at light speed, sweat soaked him, and his stomach tightened when he was looking at that poison filled needle piercing his skin. When John entered prison for the first time, he learned that one man can't box with the system, because eventually Deathrow will knock you out; making your heart as silent as a plant.
