Nana (Grandma Peer)

Every person has a time in life

When he or she dies

Sometimes

It's a loved one

Mine is Nana

She had a great love for God and Jesus

She loved dogs

Mostly small dogs

Her favorite game was checkers

Her favorite color was red

I remember

Love of things with Nana

She used to spoil me with m&m's

When I was a young child

I still have a blanket she crocheted with my name on it

She wrapped it as a Christmas present

She married Grandpa Peer

She was Clarice Peer

He was William Arthur Peer

They had mom

Aunt Sis

And Uncle Stephan (Steve)

Nana was fun to play with

But now

I know

She's in heaven now

And she'll be waiting to join us

At that banqueting table in heaven

It's sad for us to go on without her

But she's happy where she is

She'll be there for eternity

Forever more.
