Oh Perdy

I loved you

You loved me

You were my friend

You were my protector

You were my comforter

You were my shelter

You were my family and pet

You were my dog

I wish I still had you

I wish you were still around

I wish you were still alive and well these days

I had plans to keep you all the way to college

If you lived that long

You were my baby

My girl

I have memories of you

That's all I have of you

You were special to me

Oh so special

I remember your feel

Your touch

Your care for me

You layed with me in bed

When I was sick and every night at bedtime

You'd kiss me with your sloppy lick of your tongue

When I was sad or just because you felt like it

I got you as a chunky puppy from a garage sale one summer day

I raised you from a puppy

You were lovable

You were cute

You were cuddly

You were protective

You were a baby

You were a baby girl

You were my baby

You were my baby girl

I miss you

It's mean to put you down

It's sad for me that I lost you

It's hard to go on

But I do anyway

For you
