It seems like everything has been moving at such a fast pace lately. A tempo that just won't stop. A world with endless dreams, and possibilities. A dance that is just about to begin, a dance with swirls and turns. A dance where the music is starting to play, a melody that seems to be a memmory itself. Slowly I inch myself foward on tip toes. Swift sharp notes, that direct my every move. Somone out there is ready to take my hand. I don't know why it feels so different, but I feel as if I'm suppose to go. The lullaby stuck in your head that I used to play long ago before when I went to bed. My head seems to spin, and spin when I hear the tune. A trance I can't erase. Delecate as butterfly wings on the fresh petals of a rose, with newly drops of spring. An image so beautiful, I'm afraid to touch it, with the fear that it may dissapear. Somone is counting my every footstep from afar. Every heart beat is another note. Expectant glances that look into my eyes, expressions that are so hard to read. Flashbacks that keep taking me back to here and now. Flashbacks that keep taking me back to you and me. People say not to take too many chances, and they say that this is all just a coincidence. Yet I know now that this is no longer just a coincidence. Memmories flooded into this dance. I see a room, people are dancing there. There are faces I recognize, but their names I don't know. A shimmering light is starting to glow, and glow. Yes the ballroom dance in my dreams has begun. Yet the question is, do you really wish to dance with me? For long ago I dreamt this same dream, but for one reason or another it took place in the city. People with many masks were dancing there, it was a mascarade so no one knew eachothers names. There was a man behind a mask that danced with me, I didn't know his name. He was of the light though, that I was sure. Two grandfathers that met, a godfather that had to be woken up at the stroke of midnight. A fairytale that had been forgotten, or perhaps it was time for it to become reall. A doves call that seemed to awaken it all. The forgotten bells that must be played again. The peace that must be restored. The castle that seems to be merely sleeping. The people that must wake up again. The ballroom dance that is no longer remembered in brilliant colors, but in black and white. The ballroom's dance of shimmering colors. A staircase that twists up, and up. To the very top, a window is there. At night you see the star's light that shines on this ballroom night. In the the days light you see a blue sky, and white clouds. A glimpse to heaven. For some reason it all seems to be a miracle from up above. A miracle of a ballroom dance. Yet where have those dance's all gone? Truly it has started again, but perhaps it's starting here and now. The old dances that must start again. The old things that have been tucked away, but can't be forgotten. We must start to remember again. So dance with me if you will, but only when the time is right. The ballroom dance, that can end no longer than the stroke of midnight.
