Quily ran as fast as she could toward the giant tree, her heart pounding with excitement. She was desperate to finally meet Aaris. Deep inside her mind, another thought lingered—the magical book in the library. She knew she had to read it, yet the desire to see Aaris was stronger, so she ignored everything else and rushed to the place beneath the tree.
As she reached the tree, she froze.
Just as the letter had described, someone was standing there. Rose petals were scattered across the ground, dancing gently in the breeze.
Slowly, the mysterious person turned around.
He had long hair, sharp dark eyebrows, and a strong, handsome appearance.
"Is... is he Aaris?" Quily wondered, her heart skipping a beat.
A smile slowly appeared on her face.
To her surprise, the young man smiled back.
Before she could take another step, she noticed someone standing silently behind him.
It was Prince Khen Evander.
The prince looked at Quily and smiled warmly.
But Quily didn't even acknowledge him. Her eyes were fixed only on the mysterious stranger.
She gathered her courage and walked forward, ready to ask the question that had lived in her heart for so long.
"Are... are you Aaris?"
Before she could speak, the mysterious man turned away and quietly walked off without saying a single word.
Confused, Quily ran after him.
Then, a sudden thought stopped her.
"If he were really Aaris... wouldn't he have spoken to me? Why would he leave without saying anything? Maybe... maybe he isn't Aaris after all."
The doubt filled her heart.
Without wasting another second, Quily turned around and ran straight to the library.
"The magical book... It knows everything. If I read it, I'll finally discover who Aaris really is."
She hurried through the library, searching every shelf until she finally found the mysterious book.
Her hands trembled as she opened it.
Page after page, she turned eagerly...
Until she reached Page 21.
To her astonishment, every moment that had just happened beneath the tree was written there exactly as she had lived it.
Her heartbeat quickened as she continued reading.
Then...
She finally saw the truth about Aaris.
The revelation was so shocking that Quily couldn't even believe her own eyes.
Was it the truth...
Or was it just another illusion?
She couldn't tell.
And for the first time, Quily realised that not everything written in the magical book could be understood so easily.8Please respect copyright.PENANAydbgaUG0hM
