School is finally out. I’ve been waiting for summer break to start since practically the beginning of the year. I step outside of Boys’ International Academy of Learning, which is connected to Girls’ International Academy of Learning. Usually we don’t have classes together, but there are a few classes that are conjoined, along with a cafeteria. There are also separate cafeterias for anyone who wants. I know, what school would spend that much money on three different lunch rooms.6Please respect copyright.PENANAgtiVeo9zKa
It’s muggy outside, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to wear shorts. I’ve just always hated how they look on me. Maybe if I start working out this summer I’ll look better in them. The sun is practically blinding me despite how cloudy it is. It’s supposed to rain like crazy right around now. The ground is already soft from the previous days that it’s been raining.
“F*g,” someone mumbles towards me as they pass by. I’ve gotten used to it. Everyone in my school dislikes me. And that’s not just me being insecure—no, they just don’t like me. I’ve tried reporting the bullying a few times but no one ever does anything about it because they think I deserve it. I would ask Dad if I could transfer schools, but I don’t want to worry him. Plus, I’m at such a great school with a scholarship, which means he doesn’t have to pay. He doesn’t need to be spending his money on me like that.6Please respect copyright.PENANAQ4KzeLe7Cy
Anyway, all of this started when my now ex best friend of almost four years decided that we were apparently dating and I cheated with her on a guy, and when she confronted me I started screaming at her and shit went down. Supposedly. I tried denying it but no one would listen to me. And now everyone thinks I’m an asshole, because, of course she’s good at spreading rumors.6Please respect copyright.PENANA3EQplx3urd
