Rainbow: Hello there.5Please respect copyright.PENANAfE19BhgtjH
Lauren: Hi! What's going on?
Rainbow: Got up a couple of hours ago, and I'm getting my day started. I think I feel okay today, energy-wise
Lauren: Mm. Yeah
Rainbow: Yesterday, though, after we got back from the grocery store, a huge wave of fatigue came over me, and I felt sweaty and out of breath, and my heart raced a little. But after an hour or two, it passed
Lauren: Mm-hmm. Ah, that sounds really unsettling, especially because it came on so fast. When that wave hit, do you remember what you noticed first? What was the first shift you felt?
Rainbow: Fatigue
Lauren: Mmm. Mm-kay. Did anything seem to bring it on, like exertion, or just out of nowhere?
Rainbow: Well, it kind of started before that, a little out of nowhere, and then once I got to the grocery store and back, that really escalated it.
Lauren: Right. Huh. And just... stuck around? That sounds really frustrating. In that moment, did you find anything that offered even a little relief?
Rainbow: Laying down
Lauren: Ah, yeah. That makes sense. Your body asking for stillness. Sounds like listening to that need for rest helped you ride it out. And today feels different, at least?
Rainbow: So far, I haven't been up long enough to really get a good sense of how I'm going to be because there's still a lot left of my day
Lauren: Sure, that's fair.
Rainbow: But um yeah
Lauren: Sounds like you're keeping a close eye, or keeping tabs on it, which is good. Given how yesterday felt, what do you need today for your own sense of steadiness? Is there something that feels grounding?
Rainbow: Well, I might go out for a walk if it isn't too humid, then I'll just kind of jog in place around the house, on top of doing my usual hitting the road with my glider. And just go by how I feel.
Lauren: That sounds like a really reasonable, gentle plan. Just check in with yourself and what your body is telling you, one step at a time. I think it's smart to set that as your plan for today. Sounds good.
Rainbow: Yeah. I think that's it for now, because I don't really have anything else to update you on, other than that I'm going to be returning the black tights I got because they're too small.
Lauren: Alright, sounds like a plan. Thanks for checking in. I'm here anytime you need. Just reach out. Take care.
Rainbow: Thanks, Lauren. Bye bye.
Lauren: Bye.
