「傳說中，慧心高中每年都會失蹤幾個人……但沒有人會記得他們。連他們的父母，也會徹底忘記自己生過這個小孩。」

高二那年的課後輔導，范念晴與班上其他九名同學一起，被班導師留了下來。隨之而來的，是發生在他們身上的肉體異變——

他們的肋骨與骨盆完好如初，肚子卻不合常理的瘋狂內凹，在短短幾天內瘦成畸形、空心的「沙漏腰」。那種乾癟的形狀，彷彿只要做個稍微大一點的彎腰動作，脊椎就會啪嚓一聲，當場折斷。

最讓人毛骨悚然的是，全校師生彷彿集體被修改了認知，看著他們不正常的身體，竟然沒有人發現不對勁……
