上了年紀的葬老師，是這裡唯一的園丁。他的雙手嵌著洗不掉的黑土，長煙斗裡燃著用樹下黑土烘製的死灰煙草，無齒的鐵鏟翻著舊城區最不堪的廢料——收屍人的碎骨、幻劇班的血衣、紋身館的死皮、噬淚者的殘蠟、骨花醫院的殘肢……每一樣，都是曾在舊城裡滾燙過的愛恨與絕望。

他不審判，不共情，只把所有極點的情感都埋進土裡，化作無聲之樹的養分。畢竟，執念再重，埋落土，都只不過係兩両肥料。
