從事禮儀師的葉蕓柔與妹妹葉蕓葶在⽗⺟親因空難逝世後，兩⼈彼此扶持⼀起⾛下去。

在連假即將結束，讀⾼⼀的妹妹不但沒回家，還就此失去⾳信。

向警⽅報案後，竟得到妹妹遭到殺害的消息。

然⽽，嫌疑犯最後卻逃過法律的制裁，不需付出應有的代價。

當嫌疑犯不⽤付出應有的懲罰時……

該靜待正義到來的那天，還是執⾏⾃⼰所認為的正義？

•這部是舊作重發。比《惡的盡頭之處》的Truth篇，還要更早寫的短篇犯罪故事。是第一次寫的短篇犯罪故事。想了很久，還是決定把它重放上來。​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
