鳳凰城，曾是一座充滿生機的繁榮之城。

那裡有熙來攘往的商旅，有切磋武藝的拳手，有每條街道獨有的聲音。但一場宮廷大火之後，一切都變了。異國旗幟插上城牆，黑幫在街頭橫行收費，官府與罪惡沆瀣一氣，而城裡的人，只剩下低頭的習慣。

一個流亡多年、隱姓埋名的失落王子悄然歸來，只為尋回父母留下的最後遺物。兩個在死城裡仍然相信拳頭可以守護人的武師，守著一間門可羅雀的拳館，拒絕放棄。還有把劍藏在廚房底下的飯店老闆、跨越重洋尋找弟弟的異鄉軍人、不理世事的獵人、從火山廢墟流亡而來的冰火兄弟、迷失的刺客、尋找意義的魔法師……

他們因各自的傷痕與理由，在這座腐爛的城邦相遇，最終走到了同一條路上。

十鬥士只是在黑夜裡，嘗試去改變這座腐爛的城邦。

要點燃一座死城，先要有人願意燒盡自己。而鳳凰，從不輕易涅槃——因為涅槃之前，必須先化為灰燼。

本書改編自經典遊戲《Little Fighter 2 — 小朋友齊打交2》，以原著角色為基礎，重新構建一個屬於鳳凰城的故事。
