蕭星梣是一個數字遺產執行人，她的“彼岸”工作室會收取臨終客戶或者給自己留遺產的客戶所有數字資料，按著客戶要求整理後，交付給指定的人。蕭星梣正在整理客戶交付的結尾工作時，收到一份新的訂單，客戶名字寫著溫敘白三個字。系統提示“客戶“溫敘白”的數字遺產預案已激活”

蕭星梣端著水杯的手抖了一下。因為這是她從業以來，第一次看到的客戶名字不是陌生的逝者，而是那個在對面大樓裡正拿著手術刀的人，也是她遇見的那個想要和他共度餘生的人。蕭星梣打開案件檔案，裡面空白一片，只有簡潔到極致，留給執行人的一句話「阿梣，別找」。

窗外，夜色漸濃，工作室的燈光從外面看總是格外亮眼，而她在總是在這個是時刻開始，徘徊在生者與逝者、記憶與遺忘的邊緣上，成為這片遺忘邊界上，一座孤獨的燈塔。
