We flew over to the American Moon Base in our new spaceplane, having thwarted not one, but two evil schemes in the biodome. We were sitting in the front of the plane, right behind the pilots. In the backroom behind the passenger seats Lim Yazhu was imprisoned, with two American agents making sure that he'll stay put.
With the CEO going to jail, the future of BIORBITAL was uncertain. It was hypothetically possible for a new person to tak Lim's place, but it will take a while before the biodome will be fully operational once more, because the mess caused by the deadly spores must be cleaned up first. Moreover, it's likely that a lot of people will leave the company due to being abandoned by Lim during the lockdown. It didn't take long before we landed next to the American Moon Base, in which we'll stay for a bit so that our spaceplane can be refueled. Additionally, Jerry said something about a "prisoner exchange", so that will happen to.
Even though it's only been a few months since our last visit in the outpost, several things have changed. First of all, a new dome was being built, which we've already seen from above. Many construction robots and drones were moving around the unfinished building. Secondly, the metal cube housing LunAI, the base's cybernetic managment system, now had a new waterproof layer added onto it. The reason for such an addition was obvious: during our first mission, we had to flood the base with water to quickly evacuate it. The final change was in the staff, as new crews arrived to replace the old ones every six months or so. None of the people were recognisable, so the only familiar inhabitant of the base was LunAI.
- Hello, visitors and scientists. Welcome to the Shackleton Moon Base, where we... - LunAI started its introductory monologue, but we weren't listening, because we had to meet up with someone: the crew from the second spaceplane.
It consisted of Anthony along with a few unfamiliar agents, who were busy guarding the now handcuffed and disarmed Perseids. All of the Russian criminals were obviously unhappy, but Dawn seemed to be the most frustrated out of the group.
- How could this be?! Why did our magnificent plan fail?! - she shouted, to the point at which LunAI reminded her to remain calm.
- It was because of your incompetence, Dawn! - Leonid hissed - If you stood up instead of falling onto that stupid lever, we would have been fine!

He didn't reply. Harold was abstolutely stumped.
- We'll see each other on Earth, I've got things to do here - Einstein cut him off before he was able to reply.
With that, he aided the agents in delivering Lim to Anthony's group, as all prisoners were to be brought to our home planet aboard the same vessel. Only a few seconds passed before the villains started arguing.
- When did you come up with the idea to sabotage my company? - Lim started.
- As soon as we joined you three months ago - Leonid smiled.
- I thought you were planning to work with me! - Lim grumped in response.
- Are you being serious right now? We're not even Chinese! - Dawn giggled.
- If it wasn't for you, my plan would have worked out perfectly! - Lim ignored her, turning back to Leonid.
- You're sure about that? Those kiddos would have worked it out anyway. They're really talented when it comes to foiling schemes... - Alia added.
The group was brought into the airlock and subsequently into the spaceplane, because their arguments were catching the attention of regular astronauts and we didn't want them to hear any classified details. Before leaving, Anthony came over to me and brought me away from the others for a bit.
- Hey, I just wanted to thank you again for saving my life. Even though I will still be busy, I remember about you and try to protect you and Justine at all costs, so you can be sure that no criminals will break into your house or even think about it, because they will be dealing with me - Anthony told me.
- Thanks, dad - I replied.
- I have big plans for you, so you'll hear from me soon. Anyhow, let's keep this conversation a secret for now. I love you, remember that! - Anthony finished.
- I love you too, dad! - I hugged him before he left. He returned the gesture and then left to join his team.
I also came back to my unit, which was getting ready to leave the lunar outpost, as our spaceplane was almost fully fueled up. In the meantime, we put on our spacesuits early, because it will take several minutes and by the time were done, the plane will be ready to go. Since nobody besides Einstein heard us, we could talk freely.
- Do you think that this is the end of the Perseids? - Sebastian asked while dealing with his suit.
- Probably, since they've just landed their key members behind bars - Arika shrugged.
- Yeah, I agree - I noted.
- Not all were captured. Remember the two guys from the Hyperspace? - Amber asked us and we nodded.
She meant Vladislav Kilov and Bruise, two muscular men who we met during our previous mission. It was true that their whereabouts were unkown to us and they weren't escorted to the spaceplane with the others.
- Yes, but what can they do without a leader? - Claudius questioned.
- Find a new one? - Amber suggested.
- Still, it will take them a while to find a person who's worthy of becoming the new leading figure, so we can assume that the Perseids are gone for the time being and so is BIORBITAL - Einstein assured us.
Having dealt with our heavy spacesuits, we left the American Moon Base and boarded the spaceplane. I hoped to take a break from fighting criminal organizations for a while, because after facing so many deadly situations, I simply wanted to relax without fearing a surprise attack or a bomb hidden in the middle of nowhere.
- So, we're getting a break for now? - I asked.
- Probably, but there's one more thing left to do - Einstein informed us.
