I grew up in a world where love ment you left and loyalty always has to to stay. My father ran guns since I could remember. After my mom's left he had me knee deep in the game. Before my balls dropped I could break down a gun with my eyes closed by the time I was 18 I was running the whole operation. By 22 I was married. My wife. I mean if you can even call her that. "Everyone exit the fuckin room." I snapped at everyone. I grabbed Ky shoulder before he left.
"Boss."
"Rule number one?" I asked.
"Woman and children untouched." He said.
"Exactly and you had a gun to miss lady here." I said.
"Boss." He said and I shot out his knee cap. Be ready to get in my ring too when I get back." I said and turned my attention back to the woman who was living rent free in my head for months. Here she was sitting in front of me. I stepped closer to her.
"Can I?" I asked pointing to her belly. She shrugged and I touched her belly. It wasn't super huge but you could tell she was pregnant. I didn't even question if she was lying I can't explain it but I felt something for the baby.
"Twins." She said.
"What?" I asked.
"Two. Twins." She said.
"Shit. What you need from me?" I asked.
"Nothing. Just needed to tell you. You wanna be in I'm cool with that. I don't want your drama to make it to my door step. I don't want you what we did that night was great but if I knew you were married I would've never crossed that line but hey we here now. I know your use to being in control I can smell it on you but you don't control me. I have a doctor's appointment on Friday at 3." She said.
"I'll be there mama." I said.
