To anybody on the outside,
This year started terribly for me. It began when I first released The DreamDweller Project on January 1, hoping for it to be indexed by the next week. Sadly, this didn't happen; you can't search for it on Itch, and the download page can only be accessed through a direct link. I'll link it here in case you're interested.

It's a short game at the moment, and I was expecting to update it in January, but I was down in the dumps for a few days. After I recovered, a bad snowstorm hit, and I caught a cold. The cold lasted about a week, and at this point, I completely ignored the project. I just spent the rest of last month, catching up on a few video games I left unfinished.
I plan to make up for lost progress, but if I happen to vanish for a while, it will likely be due to family reasons. Anyways, here is the schedule of mine:

I wanted to spend a bit of this month practicing landscapes and learning the piano.
Landscapes were always difficult for me, more specifically plants and fields (grass, leaves, flowers, farmland etc.), due to how small its details are. I find it crazy that I can draw decent-looking characters, but struggle with the room they are inside of.
As for the piano, I always wanted to learn it, but never had the opportunity. I listen to a few pieces every once in a while, because it helps me sleep. I also plan to learn guitar, to produce shoegaze and post-rock, my favorite music genres.
Since I'll be using a digital audio workstation (DAW), the piano lessons will need to come first, since the notes for digital instruments, are placed on a piano roll.
Yeah, I know it's 2026 and I could just generate this stuff instead of learn it, however I been making art for many years now, and I wouldn't want to throw away that progress, especially those days of pain and self-discipline. To me personally, if I used AI to generate my project, it would feel like I gave up on myself.
