我是2020年疫情期間開始寫作的，這時人生早已過半。寫了一個中篇小說和一個短篇小說，整個人累得不行。然後就開始寫詩，收在詩集裡。我還是更喜歡寫小說，因為我自認為情感很細膩，想表達的東西有很多。可是寫小說很累，我的體力不行。於是最近就想寫一些散文，希望有一天我的女兒會讀到我的散文，了解一些我的過去，也了解一些我的思想。女兒年紀小的時候，我很少跟她閒談，因為我知道我說出的每一句話，都會對她產生深遠的影響，我不敢輕易地影響她。現在她長大成熟了，如果她願意，可以聽我說說我的過去和我的思想。我相信每一個新移民都有自己獨特的故事，我先說說我的，希望大家會感興趣。
