《諸民記》不是歌頌勝利的編年史，我希望記錄失落者、旁觀者與沉默者的聲音——那些在戰鼓與祈禱聲下，被迫選擇、被迫沈默、被迫生與死的小人物。


在這卷中，有少年被奪走自由，卻在血火中仍尋求愛與尊嚴的耶尼切里；還有在不同時代、不同土地，為信仰、為生存、為親人掙扎的人們。


他們或許不曾留下姓名，卻以血與痛，刻下比王侯更深的印記。


這是眾民的記憶， 時代洪流下無名之輩的故事。
