​​​​​​​Side 7，目前最新的Side殖民衛星群，其中有一座新建的殖民衛星，這座殖民衛星是一座學園都市，但是不是作為一般人類的學園，而是給自過去一年戰爭開始大顯身手的機動人形，Mobile Figures的學園。

自從U.C.0080年，一年戰爭結束後，所有勢力、公司所生產的MF都須進入此學園進行訓練、學習，因此相對應的也有整備、後勤等相關的產業進駐。許多一年戰爭時期服役過的MF也有修復後入學。

其中在這殖民衛星有一項特殊的運動賽事，在殖民衛星的其中一島，模擬各式作戰環境的區域內，進行通常維持數天甚至數周的生存賽事。不能離開該區域、不能破壞殖民衛星，除此之外毫無規則，揭盡全力的存活下去吧。這就是該賽事的簡介。
