It was a dark cloudy day, the sound of the rain splashed onto my window room, flashes of lightning and the rumbling of thunder could be heard. I sat at my birch wood desk, studying the five manuscripts of the anonymous grimoire of demonology, Lemegeton Clavicula Salomonis or in English, The Lesser Key of Solomon. The 1st grimoire, Ars Goetia, was a documentary of the 72 noble demons of hell. It showed what each demon looked like when on the earth realm, what powers they possessed, rank in the society in hell and the legion they command. A flash of lightning struck outside my window, thunder rumbled at the same time. I jumped, nearly falling off my chair. I looked at the window and then at the manuscript. Forms of unknown symbols started to move, changing as they moved. “Thánato lógo tis asthéneias…?” I questioned the thought of what I just read. Rubbing my eyes, I rechecked the manuscript. No words were there, only symbols. I thought of what just happened and jumped to the conclusion that I had hallucinated it. I made my bed and lied staring at the ceiling. Yet, this un-assuring feeling was in my heart. I swept it aside, thinking it was fear building up at night.554Please respect copyright.PENANAy1AdF9b5LZ
The foul stench of rotting bodies wafted in the air, I looked around to check and there I stood in the middle of a vast misty graveyard. No exit could be seen except for the black statue. I walked cautiously to the statue, checking my surrounding but to what I see were numerous numbers of gravestones. My heart started to beat faster by the moment, my breath became shorter and I suddenly started to run. When I finally got there, I investigated the statue. The statue was seen as if it was brand new, yet, old at the same time. I looked and concluded that it was the mythical immortal of death, the Grim Reaper. I stood closer to it, trying to take a look at the face of this so called ‘Grim Reaper’. Suddenly a cold hand grasped my neck, choking me. The statue stood up and revealed its face. My face began to sweat, my eyes dilated and-. I woke up, sweating and breathing hard in the cold grey morning, I thought it was all a nightmare, but to be truthful, it wasn’t.554Please respect copyright.PENANAv7yFbQYdM8
