Characteristics: There is a sharp spine on the head, and the eyes are relatively large compared to the head. It has 10 pairs of legs, 5 pairs of walking legs, and 5 pairs of swimming legs. The body has distinct red stripes, hence the name Red Stripe Shrimp. They have a thin but strong layer on their tail, the structure may help them in lurking.

Habits: They use the frontal horns on their heads to store a small amount of food. As their main food is red sausage, they string red sausages on their heads. They have a solitary lurking habit and usually lurk under clothing or other debris. However, they particularly enjoy music; when they hear lively music, they appear and dance to the rhythm.
