Heather gripped the pencil in between her fingers tightly, staring at the blank piece of paper in front of her with furrowed brows. Grimly, she looked back at where countless of crumbled drawings were thrown into the bin, and sighed.
Perhaps she wasn't meant to become an artist.
She plopped onto her bed, looking up at the ceiling that was littered with paintings her sister had made before she had moved away. Heather groaned and stuffed her face full of pillow.
One eye open, she looked at the desk with blank paper, and glared. Maybe if she looked at it long enough, it would burn.
With a huff, Heather stood up and approached the desk, her hands ready to crumple the paper until upon its plank surface a flash of beauty appeared, then vanished just like that.
Heather's hand twitched closer to the pencil that was placed right next to the paper, but the crinkle of her past failures settling into the trash bin made her flinch. Heather let out a frustrated groan and forced herself to sit down on the chair.
The pencil was once again in her grasp, and the paper before her was still empty. Anger aimed at herself made her begin the first stroke. How she wished she was a better artist. How she wished she would be able to draw as good as everyone, maybe even better.
With each line upon the paper, her thoughts and emotions swirled, distracting her. she poured her frustration into each time her pencil made in contact with the paper. Angry that she couldn't get better.576Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡxyYhwKbmtN
When she reached the peak of her anger, she banged her pencil onto the desk, and dropped her head to rest on the desk's edge.
No point in continuing, she thought.
With one last sigh, Heather dragged herself off of the chair, but not until she got one last look at her drawing.

Heather held the paper and closed her eyes, opening them again to look at it. Okay, this wasn't an illusion. This was real.
Heather bit her lip and her eyes sparkled, it didn't look bad! Th-that was a first! She squealed and hung the drawing on her wall, trying to make it look as neat as possible.
She looked back at her desk filled with extra paper, and skipped towards it. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad next time!
