. . . HIS DEEP blue eyes and lowered eyebrows point themselves toward the golden lamp. The witch's tone had been embedded in his thoughts. Her suggestive eyes and her blatant ability to refuse to take the hybrid's reluctance for an answer. She prophesied that the grand lamp would aid in his personal endeavors. The elderly woman went as far as to mention his curse. Thus increasing his intrigue, yet his skepticism remained firm.
He preceded to chuckle in her face, for Klaus had trouble accepting such a tale. For as long as he roamed the vast planet, such information escaped him. It sounded absurd to his ears. Or perhaps it bruised his grandiose ego.
Yet the hybrid man bought into her theatrics as he accepted the lamp with obvious caution. Threatening to slay the elder witch if she was planning a ploy. Yet it was her turn to chuckle in his presence. Her sly voice mocked him as she simply retorted telling him that he knew where to find her if such an action was necessary.
Alas, here he is. Pondering on his future actions.
Shall he indulge as he sits, suffocated by his art block? Or take the safer course and avoid releasing whoever or whatever could be sealed in the lamp.
Though his selfish nature had won him over, ready to rid himself of the shackles of the curse.
His smirk grew as he began to stand preparing to protect himself if things took a wrong turn. As he knew too well the consequences of witches' magic. Following the witch's instructions, he muttered the incantation as she instructed so.
The room lay still for a moment as Klaus began to plan his torturous intentions for the deceiving witch. Yet his murderous thoughts were cut short as the lamp silently shook and a mystic gold smoke began to flow. His eyes followed the rising smoke, as it began to take form. An otherworldly light flashed, blinding the immortal man before he was faced with a mysterious figure.
The smoke seemingly took the form of a shapely woman with a mysterious aura. Her numerous curves were clothed by the dark red fabric and shimmering gold attached to the pieces. Beaded belts and woven pearls hung on her hips accompanied by the emerald amulet and gold-plated talismans. Her arms were draped with numerous bracelets. Her ankles are bound by the beautiful, shining anklets. The woman had shimmering, ebony tresses adorned with a veil.
She seemed to be glancing at her surroundings, getting a glimpse of her location. "Where the hell am I?" A honeyed voice seeped lowly from the figure as Klaus grew impatient.
"Behind you, love."
The beholder of the voice turned in his direction, as Klaus's eyes widened—such beauty. Plump, wide lips fixed in a straight line. Her sharp nose held up as her rosy cheeks contradicted her sharp gaze. Yet her eyes were full of gold. His mouth ran dry as the woman cocked her head at his strange expression. "Were you the one to release me from the lamp?"
"Well, aren't we observant," Klaus mimicked her pose as her expression turned.
"And we have another bastard to summon me," she muttered to herself as her eyes rolled.
"I heard that." He gritted his teeth at the statement.
"Well, who started it?" She quipped as her lip pulled into a snare.
"I suppose, you may be right," he chuckled softly at her audacity. She seemed to not have a clue as to who was in her presence.
"I suppose I already knew that," she replied with a blazingly boring tone. "Well, what do you want?" Her manicured hands fell to her waist as she grew tired of the small talk.
"Excuse me?" Klaus's eyebrows drew closer as the statement was unexpected.
"You summon a wish-giver, and you get your wishes. Did anyone ever bother to catch you up?" She said as the lines on her forehead began to appear and her confusion grew.
"Wish-giver?"
"That's what I said." She replied with a raised tone.
"Tone it down love," he demanded as he grew tired of her irritating behavior. "What are you?"
"What are you?" She turned the conversation onto him.
"How childish of you," Klaus slapped a fictional smile on his appearance.
"Says the man who doesn't know what he summoned." She rolled her eyes once more.
"Hence the question for your identity," he matched her tone.
"For the one who touched the lamp, I am subjected to thee. To grant your dreams," her flowery voice held a tone of mystery.
"Enough with the riddles," his hand ran over his forehead. "A straight answer, if you will."
"I grant thee whatever lies in your heart and mind. For you hold the title of my master." She mouthed her rehearsed lines. "Now, your turn."
"That gave me nothing," he gave her a straight face.
"Read between the lines for your answer. Now I want to know who summoned me," she ordered.
Klaus's being filled with anger at her demanding tone. Yet his mind decided to play along with the ongoing situation. "I am one of the oldest species to walk the earth. I hold the title of being the hybrid."
"Hybrid? So you're not a mortal?"
"Far from it, love." He gave a proud, sinister smile.
"Well, you say you're a hybrid," she said her lips pursed as she closed the distance between them. "What kind?"
"I shall answer that when I get a straight answer from you."
"Then I guess we both won't get the answers we want," she smirked crossing her arms as her bangles released a jingle.
"I will get what I want," Klaus growled at her lack of submission.
"Well once you figure out what you hold in your possession, feel free to release me once again." She locked eyes with him making sure he felt her unwavering gaze before she willingly whisked herself away. She transformed into the smoke she once arose from, returning to her lamp.
