With much time and tiring searches for abilities in people that simply were not there, the AVPSI made a full conclusion in 2012, in agreement with all of their Scions and Scryers that psychokinesis and pyrokinesis are both psionic abilities that exist in fiction only. Such a conclusion was not only reached by the complete lack of observation of these abilities and everything similar, but also from many locally published (localized only within the AVPSI) thesis papers that used and adapted some equations from Herios and the properties of psionic energy waves, to say that these psionic energy waves only have a known interaction with the Astral Plane, which (as a ghost version of the physical world) does not directly affect any other energy frames of the physical world, be it thermal, kinetic, gravitational, chemical, or electrical. Psionics affects a part of the brain that receives and interprets these signals, in a way claiming that psionic waves are like information and data, and thus do not behave like the normal patterns of energy waves. These thesis papers came in quantities as well as quality, and convinced the AVPSI that psychokinesis and pyrokinesis are not real psionic powers.
