I wake up to the sound of drilling. I mean, everyday it's something different.
While I lay in bed, I think about confessing to Layla. It's risky, but I think I can do it. I mean, I don't think that she'd unfriend me if I liked her and she didn't like me back. I think she would still keep me as a friend, but we would be more distant.
As I'm walking to class, I bump into Chelsie. Cheslie's my friend since second grade. Now, our relationship, we're like sisters. Anyway, back to reality.
"Hey! How's Layla?", she says. She smirks and me and starts to giggle. We both do.
"I don't know. I mean, I've been thinking about telling her," I say, looking down at my shoes.
"Oh, my god. Really?", she yells.
"Shhhh!", I say. "Quiet down!"
"Sorry! I'm just so excited for you! Eeee!", she says.
I'm in biology, and I'm sitting next to Layla.
"I want to confess something to you...", I say.
"Yes?", she says, looking at me.
