Suddenly, Dorian stopped the car and parked it on the side of the road.
"What are you doing?" I asked. Dorian pointed past my face, so I turned to look. It was a restaurant on the ground floor. He then pointed up a few floors to a high end restaurant that had a sign I couldn't read.
"Which one would you prefer?" Dorian asked.
"Why would you spend money on me if I'm supposed to be paying you?" I asked.
"I can't let you starve, Jeremy," Dorian said.
"I mean," I said, "I've never been to a fancy restaurant."
"What do you consider fancy?" Dorian asked.
"Not fast food," I said.
"Can I buy you some clothes before we head over to the restaurant?" Dorian asked.
"If you're okay with it, be my guest," I said, "I'm not the fashionable type, so I'll let you choose for me." I wasn't about to tell him that I only wore what I managed to steal.
"Is that so?" Dorian asked as he turned on his car again and quickly moved it into a nearby parking lot. "I'll bring you somewhere I buy my clothes. You're about 168 cm, correct?"

"As I thought, you were 25 cm shorter than me," Dorian said, "And I'm not even the tallest in my family."
"Why do you sound like that?" I asked, "Are you making fun of me?"
"Sorry, didn't mean it in a bad way," Dorian said, "I just have a height complex because I was the shortest man in my family. So, I've always wanted a lover that was shorter than me, but because of who I am, no man will come to me. The only exception is you, who didn't even bat an eyelid to propose to me. "What did I say exactly?" I asked.
"You whispered 'omg marry me'," Dorian said, "Shoved the ring in my hand and ran. I think you got scared that you were caught and you were, but you're going to own up to it, right?" I sighed.
"Right," I said. We finally exited the car and Dorian dragged me into a Men's clothing store. He made me try on like ten different outfits, saying "hmmm" each time. "Can I stop here?" I asked after trying on an eleventh outfit.
"I want all of them," Dorian said to the clerk who was helping us, "And can he wear this out?"

"No, trash them," Dorian said. I quickly cleaned out the pockets of my old clothes for my valuables, which were my lucky marble and a sentimental ribbon.
