I found out that the CEO was named Dorian Colson. Dylan told me to not post anything for a while just to be safe, but I decided to go to Dorian myself. His office seemed to be a bit far for me to go, but Mr. Colson invited me to a café nearby for coffee so I went.
"You must be my future spouse," Dorian said as I walked over to him, "My name is Dorian Colson. Please call me Dorian."
"I'm Jeremy Haze," I said, "I'm sorry for not introducing myself before I handed you the ring."
"I'll have you know," Dorian said, "I actually purchased it and kept it." He lifted the chain around his neck and showed the ring on it. Topaz stone and all.
"Wait, what?" I asked, "You purchased it?"
"I knew you weren't going to buy it, so I bought it myself," Dorian said, "You're also going to have to pay me back for everything you stole, every cent."
"I don't have a job," I said, "So I don't have the money."
"I'll give you a few options," Dorian said, "Marry me and work as a househusband cleaning everything, Marry me and work under my supervision, or pay me back right away."
"Wait, you'd let me be a househusband?" I asked, "I'm pretty good at cleaning and cooking. Do you have space for a garden?"
"This is taking a strange turn," Dorian said, "But yes, I do have a small patch of land that I wanted to have a garden in, but never gotten around to getting a gardener for."
"But I'm just a common thief, why are you being so nice to me?" I asked.
"I'm gay," Dorian said, "And normally people don't want to approach me, but you even proposed to me. Not only that, but you're my type as well. Aside from the whole thief thing. So will you marry me?"
"I-" I started but was cut off.
"You most definitely will not, you jerk!" Dylan shouted, I turned and saw Dylan with my ex-girlfriend Sylvia Stone. "Why the hell did you not tell me that you proposed to Sylvia first?" I stood up.
"Because I didn't," I said, "Sylvia did and I rejected her, besides that was eight months ago. I had another boyfriend after her, but it was a mutual break up."
"You're bisexual?" Dorian asked.
"Dorian," I said, "I think we should leave before Dylan makes it even worse." Dorian got up and we walked out of the café. He walked up to a car and unlocked it.
"This is my car," Dorian said, "Do you want to come with me to talk or do you want to go home?"
"Sure, I'll talk," I said. Before I could get there, Dorian had already opened the door for me. "Thank you." He closed it behind me and got into the driver's seat.
"So, you're bisexual?" Dorian asked.
"I don't know anymore," I said, "I prefer guys if it helps."
"I still like you, Jeremy," Dorian said, "I don't know why that guy decided to act that way, but I believe you."142Please respect copyright.PENANAY5NaiLi8r1
"The guy's name is Dylan," I said, "He has a huge crush on Sylvia, but won't admit it. Dylan is a close friend, but honestly, we're all orphans and/or runaways, that's the main reason why we're friends."
"Oh," Dorian said, "I'm sorry."142Please respect copyright.PENANAGdFZosP4WM
