In the river where Samantha's father died stood the wolf as a cub. It was unaware of the gators nearby. A gator crept and snuck up on the cub. It then gave away its hiding with a deep hissing sound. The cubs ears fell down. It turned back and found itself trapped arund the gators body and a ring of trees. The gator slowly came closer and got faster. It went. Samantha stopped and almost succeeded in twisting the leg back in place. She then placed the stick on its leg and she tied the stick to the leg with the vine. The wolf got up. Samantha reached out to the wolf's nose slowly. The wolf started to growl. The closer her hand got to the wolf the louder its growl became. She stopped and so did the wolf.
