咚！咚！咚！

噹──噹──噹──。

晨鐘暮鼓，更北方的寺廟先行迎來落日，對孩子們來說，山的另一頭是妖怪的故鄉，小鎮村落裡早已有信仰百年的山神，所以大人們也不願特地跋山涉水到遠方寺廟參拜。

晚霞把蒼穹當成畫布妝點上純白的雲彩，淡藍中夾雜著些許粉紫，再暈染為瑰麗的橘紅，白色被塗抹層深邃的陰影，背著光，引來叶的注目。

家家戶戶升起炊煙，樹葉沙沙作響，細碎腳步聲在辦公室外不停來回，伴隨著相當刺耳的尖銳笑聲，越來越近、越來越吵雜，終於有人用力拉開了門，空氣瞬間寂靜片刻。

叶回神，對來人慢慢地搖頭，「抱歉，我今晚要去青木同學的家裡拜訪，所以沒辦法跟你們一起。」

他的班上，那個叫青木茜的女孩子，已經五、六天沒有來學校了。
