Star-gazing, washed in the comfort of night,
I rose, spread my arms, and embraced the view
I had absolutely nothing to fight.
Just that tipsy feeling like a canoe.

Although what I see may bring my demise.
My mind is nowhere close to bulletproof.
Yet the tight hands keep on dancing clockwise.

Ticking towards the end of everything.
